Hey dance lovers! It's your girl, Tilly, back with another instalment of my Tutu Tuesday blog, but this time with a twist. We’re trading the big city for the stunning coastline of Dunsborough, Western Australia. If you're anything like me, you just can’t resist a good tutu moment – and let’s be real, they are all good moments. From the iconic Romantic tutu with its layers of tulle to the more contemporary streamlined style, every tutu deserves its own spotlight.
I'm always on the lookout for places to spin, twirl, and unleash my inner ballerina. The golden sands of Dunsborough seemed like the perfect backdrop. The ocean air was crisp, and the sunshine was beaming, which is ideal for capturing some breathtaking pics with my trusty tutu.
This time, I’m rocking a blush-pink tulle tutu with a bodice decorated with delicate, hand-stitched sequins. Let’s call it ‘sunset-tastic’ or ‘summery sunset’.
Here's what we did this Tutu Tuesday:
* **Breakfast at the beach:** Okay, so this part was mostly fueled by the idea of grabbing a latte and enjoying my ‘sunset-tastic’ tutu in a beautiful setting. I know, tough job. I picked up some pastries from the Dunsborough bakery and headed down to the beach. With a hint of salt in the air, I struck a few poses by the crashing waves for a classic, dramatic ‘ballerina-by-the-sea’ moment. Let’s be honest, everyone secretly loves a ballerina by the beach, and I love every opportunity to embrace my love for dance, no matter how small.
* **Afternoon tea at a gorgeous vintage tea room:** After exploring the quaint shops of Dunsborough, I decided to treat myself to some high tea at The Lavender House, a delightful spot serving up scrumptious treats. It was like stepping back in time with vintage furniture and lace doilies. Naturally, my Tutu just made it even more magical!
* **Sunset walk on the boardwalk:** My favourite part was heading down to the boardwalk with the golden hour rolling in, it really made the tutu's color pop.

This isn't your typical ballerina spot, and that's exactly what I love about it!
