Tutu Tuesday in Irymple, Victoria, Australia #tututuesday

G'day lovelies! It's your girl, Lily, here, and today is Tutu Tuesday! The sun is shining in Irymple, Victoria, and I'm feeling so inspired by all the beauty around me, not to mention the joy of a new tutu! You know how I love a good twirl, and a tutu just makes the whole experience even better.

Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is Tutu Tuesday? Well, it's a day for all of us to celebrate the magic and artistry of dance. It's about letting loose, having fun, and embracing our inner ballerina. Think of it as a kind of personal challenge, a reminder to make our day a little bit more whimsical. It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned professional or just starting out โ€“ Tutu Tuesday is about getting out there and moving!

And don't worry, you don't have to have a fancy tutu to join in. Just pick something that makes you feel fabulous! Whether it's a classic romantic tutu, a sassy contemporary one, or even just a tutu-inspired outfit, anything goes!

Today, I decided to go with a playful and flirty little number - a shorter romantic tutu in blush pink, perfect for twirling under the Australian sun. I love how the fluffy tulle catches the light and how it moves so beautifully. Paired it with a simple black top and my favourite ballet flats - a classic combo that always makes me feel confident and ready to take on the world.

I took my tutu on a mini-adventure around Irymple today. First, I stopped by the iconic Irymple Botanic Gardens. It's a hidden gem, truly! All the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and the lush greenery made for the perfect backdrop for a tutu photoshoot! I definitely felt like a princess, and maybe even a little bit like a bird about to take flight. It's so fun to take something as simple as a tutu and make it your own.

Next, I decided to hit up the Irymple Library. Now, I know what you're thinking, a tutu at the library? Hear me out! I wanted to show that Tutu Tuesday isn't just about dancing; it's also about adding a touch of sparkle to everyday life. I was so inspired by all the books, I picked up a lovely novel about the history of ballet in Australia - such fascinating stuff.

After the library, I made my way to the heart of Irymple โ€“ the main street. People definitely did some double takes when I sashayed past. The kids were thrilled, especially one little girl who screamed "Tutu! You're a ballerina!" You guys, her excitement was infectious! The whole day just felt joyful.

Let me know in the comments what your favourite tutu style is and share your own Tutu Tuesday adventures! I'm dying to see your beautiful photos. And don't forget to use the hashtags #tututuesday and #irymple! Let's make this trend go global, spread the love of ballet, and have a lot of fun doing it!

Stay tuned for more of my ballerina adventures!

Xoxo,

Lily
