Tutu Tuesday in Highfields, Queensland: A Tutu-tastic Celebration!
Hey gorgeous dance lovers! It's your girl, Lily, back with another dose of dance-fuelled fashion. And guess what? It's #tututuesday and Highfields, Queensland, is stepping up the tutu game!
I’ve been blessed to be dancing professionally in this beautiful city for a few years now and one thing’s for sure - we love to celebrate. Every Tuesday, you can find us rocking our finest tutus from the classic romantic tutu, to the super chic contemporary one – it’s a full spectrum of twirling goodness.
This #tututuesday was extra special - not just because of the sunny Queensland weather making my tulle fly, but because we had an extra special guest – our legendary ballet teacher, Ms. Claire! This woman has seen it all in the ballet scene in Australia, and she was absolutely rocking her classic white tutu with her signature bright red lipstick! It just proves that age is just a number when it comes to expressing yourself and your love for tutus!
But enough about us old-timers, the real star of this #tututuesday was this adorable little dancer, Sophie. This girl is only 7, and she’s got this adorable little pink tutu on that’s making every dancer in the room want to hug her. She has the most natural talent - you can see the twinkle of the stars in her eyes, and how passionate she is about dancing.
It really just got me thinking - this whole #tututuesday thing isn’t just about the tutu itself. It’s a community - a chance for us to celebrate our passion for ballet and inspire others.
We love our tututuesday in Highfields and seeing our little darlings taking the stage in their fabulous tutus is simply amazing! The love, joy and sheer talent displayed at the #tututuesday dance class today in Highfields was enough to make even the grumpiest ballerina feel the magic!
It’s not just about being perfect; it’s about expressing ourselves and embracing our love for this art form.
