Tutu Tuesday in Alligator Creek, Queensland! Itā€™s Tutu Tuesday, and Iā€™m living my best life in Alligator Creek, Queensland! As a ballerina, I know that a tutu is a necessity for every dance studio, but when you get the opportunity to rock a tutu on a regular Tuesday afternoon in a small town like this, well, you take it! I've got my trusty pink tutu on, it's a classic, perfect for twirling around town! My tutu is definitely giving ballerina vibes, the sort of style they'd use in a ballet performance of "The Nutcracker" down at Queensland Ballet. I think they call that style a "Romantic Tutu", or maybe a "Classical Tutu." Anyway, I definitely feel like I'm floating around. But this tutu isn't just a fashion statement, it's a symbol! This tutu stands for embracing every day like itā€™s a stage and putting a little sparkle into every ordinary moment. Iā€™m always encouraging everyone to let their inner dancer out, whether that means rocking a fabulous tutu or simply getting up and moving your body. Letā€™s be honest, we could all use a bit of grace in our lives. #tututuesday **A Big Day in Alligator Creek** We had a great turnout for my Tutu Tuesday tour of the town. You should've seen the kidsā€™ faces light up when they saw me strutting through town, I swear they nearly popped their eyeballs out. I started by giving a little mini ballet class in the local park, so I could spread the love of dance and get everyone moving! Turns out the mayor was actually a pretty good pliĆ©'d dancer, although maybe he didnā€™t have a lot of experience with ā€œFouettĆ©" turns... Maybe next week? Time for Some Afternoon Tea with the Locals After that, it was time for afternoon tea with the lovely ladies of the local Women's Group. We sat in the charming community hall, all sugared up with scones and cakes, while I chatted about my love of ballet, life in the city and, of course, the history of tutus, including some insights from "The Swan Lake" to "Giselle." Dinner Time and Some Country Entertainment! In the evening, the fun continued with a lively dinner at the local pub, complete with a bush band that had me tapping my toes all night! They had the sweetest setup; Iā€™ve never seen so many fairy lights in my life! Their version of ā€œWaltzing Matildaā€ was a total hoot and I really got into it, I even had the locals joining in with a few waltzing turns. My trusty pink tutu, of course, proved perfect for dancing to their country tunes! You know I had a fabulous time because it was *definitely* on Instagram for all the world to see! **Sharing My Tutu Love!** Letā€™s talk about this tutu. The tulle fabric just shimmers under the Aussie sunshine, like a kaleidoscope! Itā€™s my personal take on ā€œclassic ballerina chicā€, which means it can definitely handle anything! The bright pink is just right, it really popped against the backdrop of lush greenery at the Alligator Creek park! So next time youā€™re feeling a little glum, I say grab yourself a tutu, head out for an adventure, and enjoy life to the fullest, my friend. We Can't Wait For Next Week's Tutu Tuesday!** Tutu Tuesdays are my chance to inspire, connect, and just generally have a good time! And donā€™t forget to keep spreading that Tutu love! #tututuesday **Want more Tutu Tuesday adventures?** * Visit my Instagram @dancer_and_blogger for photos from Alligator Creek! * Follow me on my blog at www.ballerinasadventures.com for more on ballet life.
