Tutu Tuesday in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Hey everyone! It’s your girl, Chloe, back with another blog post! This time, I’m taking Tutu Tuesday to the breathtaking coast of Trinity Bay in Newfoundland and Labrador. It’s a magical place, you guys, filled with stunning landscapes and a whole lotta heart. But it’s not all about the scenery — it’s also about the people!

So, what’s a girl to wear for a day of exploring a Canadian maritime paradise? A tutu, of course! ๐Ÿ˜‰

As soon as I stepped off the plane in Gander, the fresh air was invigorating. I instantly knew this was the place for a classic, romantic, **layered tulle tutu.** You know the kind I mean: a whimsical wisp of soft pink with layers and layers of tulle that just beg you to pirouette around! And speaking of pirouettes, let me tell you, those windswept cliffs near Trinity, Newfoundland, would make any ballerina feel like she’s dancing on air.

Of course, I couldn’t just stick with one look. I’ve gotta represent a variety of tutu styles for all the ballet lovers out there, right?! So, later in the day, I traded my romantic tutu for a **modern, edgy tutu** with sharp lines and a contemporary feel. This one was made of shimmering, black fabric that captured the glint of the sea like it was an actual mermaid scale! This was definitely a statement piece that would turn heads on any stage, or in this case, on the rugged shoreline!

Here’s the thing: You guys already know that my passion is ballet, but this trip to Newfoundland and Labrador reminded me how powerful tutus can be. They’re not just for dancers on a stage! They are symbols of dreams and beauty and creativity and that’s what I was feeling as I stood at the edge of the world on the East Coast! The rugged landscapes, the strong people, and the spirit of this province made me feel like a ballet dancer in a real-life fairytale!

This week's Tutu Tuesday journey is definitely going down in the history books for me! I even captured some of the amazing scenery with my bestie Sarah on our trip! She's got an eye for the dramatic, which you can totally tell from these photos, lol!

  • ** First up: ** Me in that whimsical, romantic pink tutu, twirling against the iconic Trinity Trinity, Newfoundland Lighthouse. It’s practically a clichรฉ, but it was *so* picture perfect!
  • **Next:** The sunset view from the top of Signal Hill with the edgy black tutu. It was like the sea and the sky were both watching me dance with my tutu. Okay, so I didn't actually dance on top of Signal Hill (the rocks were kind of tricky), but you can tell it in the picture, right?!
  • **Then, Sarah, bless her soul, photographed me at the Bonavista Whale Watching Tour. ** I didn't have a tutu on for that part of the trip but, hey, that's what's so great about fashion and travel โ€“ a little variety never hurts! It's all about experiencing the best of what each destination has to offer, you know what I mean?

Honestly, the trip itself felt like one big ballet routine.

Okay, so let’s chat #Tututuesday a little! This was definitely a trip for the books! It was inspiring to see the spirit of ballet expressed in a place so different from the typical dance studio. And if you're ever in Newfoundland and Labrador yourself, I highly recommend trying on a tutu, whether you're a dancer or not. You'll be amazed by the transformation you feel — trust me!

You can always count on your girl Chloe to bring some sparkle and twirls to your life, and that includes embracing Tutu Tuesdays wherever life takes me! So, stay tuned, because next week, I'll be taking you to another destination full of fun and fabulous tutus!
