Tutu Tuesday in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan #tututuesday Hey, dance lovers! It's your girl, Amelia here, bringing you a little taste of #tututuesday straight from the prairies. I'm in the beautiful little town of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, and the vibes are so good. The energy here is just as lively as a pas de bourrée - quick, light, and full of heart. Now, you all know I can't go anywhere without a tutu, right? And this Tuesday was no exception. I rocked a beautiful **classic romantic tutu** that had layers of soft tulle cascading like a cloud. It’s so fitting for the scenery here; wide-open spaces and big blue skies, just like the skirt of my tutu! It was a perfect blend of delicate beauty and a bit of sassy edge – just what I need to get my creative juices flowing when I'm in such a gorgeous setting. I spent my afternoon wandering the main street. I picked up some cute souvenirs at the local shop (gotta get a moose magnet!), and treated myself to a slice of Saskatchewan's finest - Saskatoon berry pie. I'm not sure if they teach you how to make the perfect pie at the National Ballet School, but if they do, I think they need to add Saskatoon berries to the curriculum! Here are my highlights from #tututuesday: * **Seeing a few families doing their own #tututuesday with adorable little ballerinas in tutus - super heartwarming! They’re the future of Canadian ballet.** This made me realize that #tututuesday is a way more than just a hashtag – it’s about spreading the joy of dance, regardless of your age or location! * **Picking up a pair of beautiful handmade moccasins, which will totally complete my "prairie princess" #tututuesday ensemble.** My Canadian heritage definitely makes this special! * **The most incredible sunsets!** I could barely choose the right photo filter, the colours were incredible. I almost felt like I was in one of those romantic, swirling ballet stories. Hudson Bay is known for its history and tradition. And to see that love for the arts, for music and dance is still alive and thriving is just beautiful! It reminded me why I love being a Canadian ballerina. We have so much to celebrate, and Saskatchewan has a rich cultural landscape that truly inspires. This little #tututuesday trip proved that dance isn't confined to stages or city centres; It's all about that passion and connection – even in the heartland of Saskatchewan. Stay tuned for more #tututuesday adventures, I'm not done exploring the prairies yet! Next up, I'm checking out some hidden gems and perhaps a **professional contemporary tutu** will make an appearance. See you next time, dancers!
