Tutu Tuesday in Bath: A Day for Sparkle, Sass, and Unicorns So, it’s #tututuesday again and guess what? I’m not just going to wear a tutu today, no, I’m going to channel my inner unicorn. Because if you haven’t noticed, my favourite colour is pink. And, unicorns are, you know, pretty much pink, glittery and mythical – perfect for #tututuesday. But which tutu to choose? A Tutu For Every Mood * I’ve got a classic romantic tutu that twirls like a dream. It’s made of soft tulle with a sparkly bodice. I'm picturing myself twirling down Bath's beautiful streets to some groovy disco music (because every day should be disco day) – how divine. * But then there’s the sassy one - all layers of black and gold tulle. That one shouts, ‘look at me!’, with a cheeky and flamboyant vibe. This is for a #tututuesday strut down Bath’s Georgian avenues, I imagine in a flash of black, gold and sass, heads turning, getting ready to party in a beautiful old theatre. Unicorn Tutus - Dreams Do Come True You know, the problem with ballet is, you never get to wear fluffy tutu tutus! *sobs softly*. You have those stiff, shiny ones, but never those amazing fluffy tutus. I just dream of wearing a pink tutu as fluffy and amazing as a unicorn’s tail. Unicorn Flair - Tutu, You Got Me Feeling So Fancy This tutu game is about to be taken up a notch, my darlings. Forget unicorns and fairies, this #tututuesday is all about glitz, glitter and glam, all in a very pink and sparkly, possibly a touch naughty, manner. We are heading down Bath’s famous Royal Crescent - so, of course, we must have a proper entrance and a little bit of fun with it. Let’s give those historical walls a bit of shimmer! And speaking of shimmer… today is a great day to have a play with my makeup. Pink Lipstick And Glittering Eyes We’re keeping it soft, but with a bit of magic and definitely pink, pink, pink! Let’s give those lips a juicy dose of blush-pink colour and accentuate my eyes with soft shimmering eyeshadows that are glittery but still flattering. This way, when the unicorn tutu shines (as it inevitably will), my whole outfit will shimmer with glorious pastel vibes. Now, this #tututuesday is about making a grand entrance so that I get noticed. How? A fabulous pair of stilettos will finish the look. Not those flat ballet shoes! Glamour and Ballet Style - Don’t Mess With My High Heels Think delicate strap stilettos or fabulous high-heeled ankle boots – anything sparkly and glam with a dash of girly chic and possibly even some pink. Yes, my girls, my friends and I are gonna’ glam up this beautiful town for #tututuesday. After all, there’s nothing more fabulously fashionable than a tutu! The day starts, but I’m feeling good, feeling fabulous and feeling very, very ready to enjoy #tututuesday with the amazing people of Bath. Ready For Tutu-ly Amazing Adventures in Bath Well, the #tututuesday plan is a go and we’re gonna strut out our tutu pride all day, baby! From ballet studios to cobbled streets, from morning walks to high-street shopping and finally onto our evening meal, my posse of tutud beauties and I are ready to unleash the most glorious day of sparkly dance moves ever. We might just rock up at The Roman Baths and tell them to stand and deliver the history, whilst we perform our #tututuesday swan lake. Oh yes, you betcha! Today we celebrate our inner diva, embrace our passion for fashion, and enjoy a magical, colourful day in Bath with our friends, so everyone join us in the #tututuesday madness!
