Tutu Tuesday in Bebington: A Tale of Twirling and Unicorns
Alright, darlings, gather round! It’s me, your favourite tutu enthusiast, and it's #tututuesday. What better place to kick off my day, and by "kick off" I mean gracefully twirl, than my beloved Bebington? This town has everything: a thriving arts scene, an abundance of vintage tea shops, and most importantly, enough sunshine to keep even the most fickle fairy (that’s me, obviously!) in a good mood.
So, where to begin? Today I'm rocking a vibrant pink tutu with a dramatic, multi-layered design - picture a cloud of cotton candy, but more fabulous. It's got this shimmering silver trim, which really catches the light and makes me feel like a disco ball on pointe. Plus, let’s be honest, pink is my ultimate happy colour. It's like a hug from a fluffy unicorn.

Speaking of unicorns, let's be honest, they’re basically the patron saints of tutus! Just think: rainbow manes, glittery horns, and an absolute knack for striking a pose - if that isn't the embodiment of tutu spirit, I don't know what is. I’ve been obsessing over unicorns lately – not the rainbow-and-glitter-stuffed plush toys you find in every kid's shop, although, I admit, I’ve bought a few of those, too. I'm talking about real unicorn vibes - magical, mythical, totally awesome, you know what I mean?
So, I decided to embrace the mythical magic with my tutu game this #tututuesday! To start, I threw on a sparkly lavender unicorn onesie with a tutu skirt sewn to it. It's comfy, it's chic, it's basically the unicorn princess dream come true! And, honestly, a comfy onesie that is chic enough for a Tuesday afternoon on the town, you simply can’t beat it. But let's get to the main attraction - I paired the ensemble with my favourite, silver, high-top trainers. Trust me, the pink and silver combo, against a backdrop of my trusty onesie, made my whole being feel magical.

And how can you have a fabulous Tutu Tuesday in Bebington without making a stop at the iconic, Rosewood Coffee Shop? If you haven't visited, prepare to be swept away by the charming, vintage ambiance. And while you’re there, do yourself a favour and order a slice of their famous lemon cake! It's to die for (metaphorically, of course, my dear readers! ). This coffee shop just seems to understand that a Tutu Tuesday adventure deserves a slice of something absolutely delicious!
Tutu Time, All the Time.
Bebington, really, you are my tutu playground. Even though, I can wear a tutu on a Friday, and let’s face it, there’s no right or wrong time to rock this most delightful garment. Just take it from a Tutu connoisseur! You want to rock a tutu for a grocery run? Do it! Heading to the gym? Maybe a tiny little tutlet is the key to adding just a dash of ballet style to your sporty workout. Going to a rave? Of course, you can! Seriously, there’s no limit to the places that you can take a tutu.
And let's talk about tutu styles! I'm a huge fan of the romantic and whimsical, think soft tulle, delicate lace and maybe a smattering of sparkling sequins. But the classic, knee-length, single-layer style holds a special place in my heart too! No matter which style, it always delivers a healthy dose of flair, whether you are twirling around a coffee shop or taking to the dance floor. Oh, the joy that comes with twirling, you have to experience it!
