Guten Tag, darling dears! It’s your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, Emma, here, bringing you sunshine and sparkle from the magical city of Vienna! ☀️✨
As you all know, Wednesdays are my dedicated Vienna blog days – my little corner of the internet dedicated to sharing all my pink tutu adventures and fashion finds with you lovely lot! This week, we’re waltzing into a world of exquisite architecture, charming coffee houses, and, of course, incredible ballet performances – oh, Vienna, you truly are my muse! 💖
This week’s journey to Vienna started with a delightful train ride – there’s something so magical about watching the world whizz by through the train window, isn't there? 🚄 The scenery was picture perfect – green fields dappled with sunshine, rolling hills dotted with picturesque villages, and, of course, my trusty pink tutu adding a splash of vibrant colour to the whole affair! 😉
I arrived in Vienna feeling a little like a princess stepping out of a fairy tale - the cobbled streets, the towering buildings, the friendly faces - it’s simply charming! I’ve already visited the iconic St. Stephen’s Cathedral – it’s just stunning! The ornate architecture is so awe-inspiring, it practically screams "tutu time!" – I may have spun a few pirouettes around the courtyard! 💃
And speaking of spinning, Vienna is absolutely buzzing with ballet! 🩰 I’m in the heart of ballet heaven, after all! You wouldn’t believe the beautiful dance halls and theaters, and the level of talent here is absolutely incredible! I saw a breathtaking performance by the Vienna State Opera this weekend - the costumes, the choreography, the music – it was truly spectacular.
Of course, my trip wouldn’t be complete without some serious shopping. Vienna is a paradise for vintage fashion lovers like myself – the beautiful antique shops filled with lace, silk, and velvet make me want to twirl! I found a couple of gorgeous vintage gowns that I think would be absolutely perfect for an upcoming ballet performance, and some delicate floral earrings to compliment my new tulle tutus - I'll share pictures in my next post! 🌸
My dear fellow pink tutu enthusiasts, I know I harp on about tutus all the time, but honestly, the beauty and artistry of this iconic garment just keeps captivating me. I find it absolutely fascinating to discover new variations on the tutu - the history and evolution of it all, and all the wonderful variations of style, colour and design...it's just captivating. This week I bought a beautifully hand-crafted tulle tutu in the most glorious shade of pink – you can just imagine the pictures I'm going to take in it! 😉💖
It’s amazing to feel such inspiration in a place so full of art, history and beauty. Vienna is really the perfect place to soak in the artistic atmosphere, find inspiration and let your inner ballerina shine through. I have to confess that my dancing is much improved already! 💃
Don’t worry, you're getting your weekly dose of pink! As you can tell, this trip is a celebration of all things pink – I have so much inspiration buzzing around, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. I already have ideas for my next pink tutu outfit and my next pink tutu blog post - I promise you’ll be giggling like a little girl in a tutu after you see it!

Pink Tutu Update:
For those who are following my pink tutu journey, I want to share a little update - I'm working on a fundraiser project, which will involve ballet performances across Derbyshire and the surrounding counties. We’re going to raise money for the wonderful "Tutus for Tots" initiative, which provides free ballet classes and tutu costumes to underprivileged children – I feel strongly about ensuring that ballet is accessible to all!
Keep checking my blog, because I'm going to have updates on the fundraising performances and how you can join in with all the fun – there'll be exciting events, workshops, and, of course, pink tutus galore! 🌸✨
