Vienna, my darling, you are a dream! (Blog Post #383)

Good morning, darlings! It’s Wednesday, so you know what that means! It’s time for another instalment of the Pink Tutu Vienna blog, fresh from my travels in the most charming of cities.

This week, Vienna has utterly stolen my heart! It's like stepping into a fairytale, full of waltzing couples, elegant architecture, and so many adorable little shops selling the most exquisite pastries. (I mean, honestly, it’s like they invented cake in this city!). My lovely pink tutu (my favourite, the one with the shimmering silver tulle) has been getting so much attention! It’s so much fun watching the smiles as people pass by, particularly the children!

As I’m sure you know, I recently arrived in Vienna by train. Now, you all know how much I adore travelling by train. It’s like being in your own little world, complete with fluffy clouds and dreamy countryside. And let me tell you, the journey was spectacular, passing through rolling green hills and charming villages, with an abundance of sunflowers, all bathed in the most beautiful golden sunshine! It was like something out of a painting.

Anyway, enough about the journey and more about this fabulous city! It’s brimming with history, art and culture, with every corner offering something new and exciting. I feel so lucky to be exploring its secrets and indulging in its wonders. Speaking of wonders, let me tell you, the shopping in Vienna is just… heavenly! My suitcase is already brimming with beautiful vintage scarves and some oh-so-chic, very pink ballet shoes. You’ll see those on my Instagram, darling, so be sure to keep an eye out!

But what would a trip to Vienna be without a trip to the Vienna State Opera House? I simply had to catch a performance! Let’s just say the sheer magnificence of the theatre left me speechless. I could feel the magic of generations past, and the energy of the performance simply vibrated within my very soul. This is what ballet is all about - the exquisite blend of movement, music, and passion! Of course, my lovely tutu was the perfect accessory. Let's just say the other theatre-goers appreciated my style choices and the sheer fun of the colour pink!

Today, after a delicious brunch at the most delightful little cafe (the chocolate croissants were simply divine!), I’m going to indulge in a very special activity. I’m going to join a horse-drawn carriage ride! Yes, darlings, that’s right, imagine it! Me, in my pretty pink tutu, bouncing along in a carriage, surrounded by the beautiful architecture of this city! You’ll see pictures, of course, don’t worry.

Vienna is the perfect blend of fairytale and reality. It’s made me realise how beautiful it is to truly embrace your feminine side, and to bring a little bit of that pink tutu joy to the world. Now, that is the kind of inspiration that keeps me dancing!

I'm just brimming with inspiration from this beautiful city. I have ideas brewing about my upcoming show – you know I always put together a big performance each month to fund my travels. And let me tell you, after a visit like this, I have a feeling it’s going to be extra spectacular.

Before I end this little chat, darling, don't forget to pop over to www.pink-tutu.com next Wednesday for a new update on my Viennese adventures!

Much love and tutu kisses, Emma

P.S. I’ve been thinking… Perhaps, my darlings, it’s time for a new pink tutu challenge! What do you say? Let’s see those tutus. Send me your pink tutu selfies and we'll share some of the most dazzling, vibrant, and fabulously pink entries on the blog next week!
