I love travelling by train - there's something so romantic about watching the countryside rush past, the wind whispering through the carriages, and the gentle rhythm of the tracks beneath you. I started my Vienna journey from my beloved Derbyshire, the journey taking me through beautiful landscapes, across rolling hills, and into the heart of Europe.

After a smooth journey on the Eurostar and a bit of sightseeing in Paris, I caught a night train, finally arriving in Vienna, feeling as refreshed as a freshly pressed ballet slipper!

Walking off the train, I was immediately swept up in the magic of Vienna.
