Vienna, My Dearest! A Pink Tutu Paradise (Post #654)

Hello darlings! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new post on my little corner of the internet - PinkTutuVienna. This week, I'm writing from the heart of Vienna, a city that's as enchanting as a waltz and as decadent as a Viennese Sacher torte. I arrived here just yesterday, travelling in style, of course. The train journey was just heavenly; it’s always a treat to gaze out the window, watching the landscape blur into a montage of fields and forests. It’s quite calming to sit back in your comfy seat, feeling the gentle sway of the train as you're carried further and further away from the daily grind.

Oh, and did I tell you? I finally found the perfect travel accessory! A darling little pink velvet satchel bag - the epitome of chic and practical! It's small enough to carry on the train and big enough to fit all my essential pink tutu-related goodies. (Don’t worry, darling, I won’t leave my signature pink tulle at home - never!).

The Ballerina's Dream

Of course, Vienna is a dream for any ballerina! The city has such a rich ballet history and is home to the famous Vienna State Opera House. Imagine, swirling and twirling in a magnificent ballroom with a grand chandelier above. Just picturing the elegant grandeur of the Vienna State Opera has me spinning with excitement. The ornate architecture is truly a feast for the eyes, not to mention the intricate carvings and magnificent sculptures.

Speaking of the Opera, today’s schedule is absolutely bursting with beautiful things! After a charming, leisurely breakfast at my lovely hotel (they even brought me a complimentary little pink macaron! So adorable, right?), I’ll be attending a delightful ballet class. Imagine, gliding across the floor with graceful pirouettes, all set against the backdrop of this extraordinary city.

After class, I’m off to explore the magnificent Museumsquartier, an art and cultural complex full of architectural beauty. It's an open-air space with an abundance of art, exhibitions, and delicious eateries - I hear they have an incredible selection of decadent Austrian pastries and chocolate! Then, my evening will culminate in a glittering highlight – a spectacular ballet performance at the State Opera House! The excitement is bubbling within me!

A Whirlwind of Fashion and Flair

My wardrobe is full to the brim with delightful pink delights. This week, I'll be sharing some of my favourite vintage pink pieces, perfect for a Parisian-inspired afternoon of exploration and shopping. It’s all about embracing a touch of vintage chic! Just wait until you see my new pair of pale pink leather gloves – so darling with a vintage pink dress, it's almost indecent! Speaking of shopping, did you know that Vienna has some of the most amazing vintage clothing stores? It’s like a dream come true!

Tonight, I'm excited to see "Swan Lake," and let me tell you, darling, I'm practically already doing pirouettes in my seat with excitement. It’s going to be magical!

A Toast to Vienna

It seems like every day in this vibrant city is filled with discovery and excitement! There's just so much to see and experience here in Vienna! It's really got a special magic to it, don't you think?

Don't forget to check back in next Wednesday for another PinkTutuVienna adventure. I promise you won't want to miss a single moment. I'm hoping to make some fun discoveries on this trip. You never know - maybe even a hidden gem pink tutu shop tucked away on some little cobbled street in this fascinating city!

Until next time, darling!

Much love,

Emma

(P.S. Don't forget to follow my social media adventures too. I'm on PinkTutuVienna everywhere!)
