Post Number 1007: Vienna, my Viennese Waltz!

Hello, darlings! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu adventure! This week, I'm waltzing into your screens from the utterly charming Vienna! And let me tell you, my dears, Vienna is living up to all its fairytale expectations.

As you know, Iā€™m absolutely besotted with the colour pink, and Vienna has been a pink-tastic haven. From the pastel-coloured buildings to the blooming pink rose bushes lining the cobbled streets, it's been a sensory delight for a pink-loving girl like me. And of course, I've been wearing my most fabulous pink tutus in honour of the city! I feel like a modern-day princess exploring a magical realm.

This trip was all thanks to the incredible performance I had last week at a charming little theatre in Derbyshire. My ā€œSwan Lakeā€ act went down a storm ā€“ everyone absolutely adored it! I love knowing I can fund my travels through doing what I love most ā€“ ballet.

Speaking of ballet, oh my goodness! Vienna is just buzzing with dance. Iā€™ve already seen a couple of incredible shows, and there's something so exhilarating about seeing ballet in a city where it was practically born. It's truly a spectacle of grace, artistry, and ā€“ of course! ā€“ exquisite pink tutus.

Vienna, of course, has a rich history of ballet, dating back centuries. I even visited the gorgeous Vienna State Opera House, which feels like stepping back in time ā€“ think grand chandeliers, velvet seating, and a real air of excitement.

Now, I wouldn't be a true pink tutu aficionado if I didn't talk about my shopping adventures. This city is an absolute dream for a girl who loves fashion! The shops here are overflowing with exquisite fabrics, pretty shoes, and all sorts of lovely girly accessories. I just had to get myself a new pink tulle skirt, just for this trip, you see! Itā€™s the perfect pairing for a stroll down Vienna's streets.

I'm completely obsessed with the shops on KƤrntner Strasse. It's the city's main shopping street and a must-visit for any fashion-conscious traveller. The architecture is breathtaking, and it's filled with stylish shops and beautiful cafĆ©s. I couldnā€™t resist stopping for a delightful latte and a slice of delicious, light-as-air Viennese cake. You just can't go to Vienna without indulging in some sweet treats!

Of course, no trip to Vienna would be complete without a horse-drawn carriage ride through the heart of the city. I felt like a real princess ā€“ and even got to take some gorgeous photos in my pink tutu, with the stunning Schƶnbrunn Palace in the background!

This trip has been all about experiencing the magical and beautiful sides of Vienna, exploring the cityā€™s ballet history, and adding a touch of pink to its already beautiful landscape!

This afternoon, I'm attending a ballet class with a local group - I love trying out new ballet classes when I travel - they all have slightly different ways of teaching which can really help you grow your practice. After class, I'll be exploring one of Viennaā€™s many charming little coffee houses - it's impossible to walk through Vienna without feeling the warmth and charm of the people and its traditions. I think Iā€™ll just order another Viennese coffeeā€¦

I'll be back next Wednesday, dears, with more pink tutu adventures from this utterly charming city. Don't forget to check out www.pink-tutu.com, where you'll find my weekly blog posts, along with updates on my dance schedule and my latest tutu creations!

See you soon, and keep on twirling!

Love, Emma xx
