Well, hello lovelies! It's Wednesday again, which means a brand new Pink Tutu adventure awaits! This week, I'm whisking you all off to Vienna, the city of waltz, music, and oh-so-much-pink (if I do say so myself)! And wouldn't you know it, the pink tulle clouds have conspired to offer up the most incredible day for me to wear a gloriously bright pink tutu! 😉
For those who haven't seen my recent adventures on Instagram, I've just wrapped up a ballet performance in Derby, my beloved Derbyshire. It was a real dream of a show! So much tutus, so much dancing, and so much happy pink energy! Of course, I always try to leave a touch of pink sparkle wherever I go, and this show was no exception.
Anyway, I've boarded the train from my little Derby town and am now heading to the magnificent city of Vienna. I've always wanted to explore Vienna, the land of waltz and ballet legends. They say there's something quite magical about Vienna and I'm certain it will inspire a whole host of new Pink Tutu stories. After all, there's no better inspiration than a good old-fashioned waltz.
This journey, much like every Pink Tutu escapade, has been fueled by my dancing. The amazing crowds who come to see me perform make all the late nights, all the practice, and all the glittery outfits, oh so worthwhile. They fuel my Pink Tutu spirit, my love for traveling and most importantly, they inspire me to get everyone dancing and twirling in a tutu!
Speaking of inspiring travels, I'm thrilled to be hopping on a carriage pulled by two beautiful white horses! How utterly magical! It's just a short trip to the hotel, but oh my, how fabulous! Imagine riding through the streets of Vienna with a gorgeous white steed by your side - a real-life fairy tale come true! And me, I'm dressed in my signature pink, a vibrant tutu swishing in the autumn breeze, creating the most adorable picture. 😉
And let's not forget, Vienna is a city overflowing with shopping delights! My wardrobe is already overflowing with amazing finds - oh my, there are some gorgeous pink things waiting for me at a quaint vintage store I just discovered! Maybe I'll get a new pair of shoes to go with the most decadent, pale-pink satin skirt I just bought. Perhaps something glittery?
But it wouldn't be a trip to Vienna without taking in some of the iconic ballet. Today, the city's renowned Vienna State Opera has the most beautiful rendition of Swan Lake playing. It’s a real treat for any ballet aficionado, especially for me! The swans, the story, the romance - it’s all perfect.
Oh, did I tell you that my hotel room boasts the most magnificent balcony overlooking the city? A perfect spot for a quick afternoon nap with the gorgeous pink sunset in view.
Now, with all that twirling, waltzing, and shopping to come, it’s time to tuck into a hearty Wiener Schnitzel. I mean, no trip to Vienna is complete without trying this delectable Austrian delight! My stomach’s grumbling in anticipation, especially after all that dancing.
