Hello my darlings!
It's Emma, your resident pink tutu-wearing ballerina, and I'm thrilled to be back with another fabulous blog post from my adventures. This week, I'm in the gorgeous city of Vienna, and I can already tell this is going to be a very special trip!
This is my 1434th blog post and as always, you can find it on my website www.pink-tutu.com every Wednesday. My latest adventure brought me to the stunning city of Vienna via train from Paris. Now, don't you think it's funny, traveling from Paris to Vienna? As a tutu-clad traveller, you could say I'm living out a beautiful fairytale! The train ride was divine; the countryside views were exquisite, just as picturesque as you could imagine.
Today's blog is extra exciting because this evening, I'm attending a show! The "Vienna State Ballet" at the beautiful Vienna State Opera House is performing 'La Bayadère' – I'm so looking forward to it!
Now, let's dive into Vienna, shall we? The streets are vibrant and charming, brimming with that exquisite European elegance that gets me every time! There's an air of grandeur about the city that's quite captivating, like you've stepped into a period piece. Speaking of grand, I spent the afternoon exploring the majestic Schönbrunn Palace. I swear, there must be enough room in there to store an entire fleet of tutus, and possibly a few dozen horses! Did I mention horses? Vienna has those too! It's quite the thing to be seen riding through the city parks - quite an enchanting experience! And of course, as I do with every adventure, I tried a carriage ride.
After all that regal activity, my tastebuds craved a bit of something delicious. And where else to go in Vienna but to indulge in their iconic coffee culture! I was treated to the most decadent cake in a charming café with ornate chandeliers and beautiful marble counters - just the sort of place I would expect to find in this glorious city!
Speaking of my day, let me share a little fashion delight. Vienna's fashion scene is simply incredible. I was walking through the elegant streets and stumbled upon this magnificent antique store - I absolutely had to see if there were any treasures for my pink tutu wardrobe, of course! And wouldn't you know it? The sweetest pink feather boa with sequined details was waiting for me! I knew it was meant to be; you can't leave Vienna without a bit of sparkle, can you?
So, now, on to my favourite part of any adventure! - the ballet performance! It's time to don my finest pink tutu and prepare for a delightful evening of graceful movements and exquisite music. Oh, Vienna! I already feel like a princess in your dazzling company.
But before I bid you adieu and step out to join the Vienna ballet, I want to give you all a bit of inspiration: Have you ever considered the idea of "pink tutu day"?! Yes! A day where everyone - from children to grandparents - don a pink tutu. Imagine a world where every street corner was a ballet stage and everyone's smiles radiated the beauty and joy of dance! 🩰😊
That's the goal, my darlings. A world overflowing with pink tutus and graceful movement! I can't wait to share more of my adventures with you, but for now, I'm off to watch the world dance, one delicate twirl at a time.
