Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, Emma, back from the most delightful trip to Vienna! I'm so excited to share my adventures with you all. This week's post is a special one, bursting with pink, waltz-y joy, and a healthy dose of tutu-inspiration.

This week, we're stepping into a magical world, a place where the cobblestones whisper waltzes and every cafe hums with Strauss. Oh yes, my dear readers, I'm talking about Vienna! It was love at first sight, from the moment I arrived on the sleek Austrian train (pink luggage in tow, naturally!) to the moment I danced my heart out in the grand Opera House.

Vienna welcomed me with open arms, or maybe it was the open doors of the beautiful "Hotel Sacher". I couldn't resist wearing my most vibrant pink tutu to the iconic hotel, because even the most elegant locations in Vienna need a splash of tutu-tastic colour. They certainly looked taken aback at first, then their eyes lit up, just like I know yours are now, dear reader.

Now, you all know I'm a big ballet buff. And what's more, Vienna is THE place to learn about ballet's rich history! It's where some of the greats, like the legendary Marie Taglioni, performed, and the city played host to many ballets, including Mozart's first opera, which featured dance! It was a total joy to walk through the grand corridors of the Vienna State Opera and imagine the stories those walls had heard!

Did you know Vienna has the most fabulous vintage shops?! Imagine my excitement when I discovered a beautiful vintage shop called "The Last Waltz", overflowing with stunning antique tutus, corsets, and hats! It was a dream come true for a pink tutu fanatic like myself! I nabbed a gorgeous pink tutu from the 1950s – think full-on frills, beautiful embroidery, and that delightful vintage blush. It's going to look amazing in my next performance, trust me!

Did you know the city of Vienna is known for its lovely horses?! I know what you're thinking: "Emma, not again!" Well, this is not about your everyday horses, these are Viennese Lipizzaners, graceful and beautiful horses used for carriage rides through the city's streets and in spectacular shows! Oh, and their elegant carriages? Imagine something straight out of a fairytale. And did I mention that some of these carriages were used for royalty in the past?

And what is Vienna without its world-renowned music? This Wednesday, I was lucky enough to attend a performance by the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra! Imagine: The music, the grand setting, the dazzling lights, and this Pink Tutu fan. I felt like I was in a movie! Honestly, you can't talk about Vienna without acknowledging its musical prowess.

My dear readers, Vienna stole my heart, filled with its history, waltzes, and, of course, plenty of pink tutus! Every corner whispered stories of elegance and beauty, and every moment felt magical, sprinkled with tutu dust, no doubt!

Now, I must dash off to the train station to start my journey back to Derbyshire, England. But I'll be back in Vienna soon! Until next time, keep those pink tutus twirling!
