Pink Tutu Vienna: Post 1717 - Waltz with Me, Darling! ??

Wednesday, 29th March, 2028

Hello my lovely tutu-twirling darlings! ?

The cobblestones are calling, and my trusty pink suitcase is packed! This week, I've flown all the way to Vienna, the city of waltzes, music, and glorious, glorious cakes. ?

I'm here for a couple of weeks, and I've already got a schedule packed with tutus and treats, performances and pastry. You know I wouldn't have it any other way!

Speaking of my travel style, I just had to share this little gem with you! For this journey, I decided on a vintage-inspired travel look. I've been hoarding a fabulous, billowing, powder pink silk dress for a while, and finally decided to unveil it. I topped it off with a custom-made pink tulle headwrap (a girl can never have too much tulle, right?) and some gorgeous emerald green heels. ? It's like a delicate floral bloom on a springtime walk in Vienna! ?

As for getting to Vienna? Oh, this time it was all about the romance. I took a train journey, through charming landscapes and beautiful villages, and let me tell you, a journey on the train feels far more magical in a tulle skirt. ??

But enough about my fancy dress (though if you fancy it, I'm always open to sharing!), let's get down to business! The main reason I came to Vienna is a bit of a whirlwind of dance and history. I've been following the work of a particular Viennese ballet company for years now, and they are staging a special performance of a historical piece - a reconstructed "The Sleeping Beauty" from the early 1900s! I am SO excited to see it. It's one of the original ballet classics that heavily inspired my love of the tutus.

Speaking of tutus, guess what I'm up to tonight?! ? It's time for ballet class in the heart of Vienna. This one isn't just any ballet class - it's being held in a historic studio, with its own storied history of famous dancers. Apparently, this little studio has been a breeding ground for incredible dancers for decades. You can practically feel the history oozing from the wooden floor! ?

Then, as if this week wasn't fabulous enough, there's a special exhibition on ballet history at one of Vienna's museums! I just HAVE to go. Imagine seeing costumes, sketches, and photos of some of the world's greatest ballet stars? I'm positively swooning at the thought! ?

So, where are you lovely people in my little pink tutu universe? Have you visited Vienna? Any favourite spots I need to see? Don't be shy, tell me all about your ballet adventures! And, if you haven't been to Vienna, don't just stand there, book your tickets!

And while you're planning your visit, maybe snag a fabulous new pink tutu for the journey. After all, what's a pink tutu for, if not to spread joy and love everywhere we go? ?

Until next week, my dears, keep your tutus twirling! ?
