Hello, my lovely pink tutu lovers! Emma here, and as usual, I'm bursting with excitement to share my latest adventures. Today, we're taking a grand tour through the beautiful city of Vienna. This gorgeous city has always held a special place in my heart, and trust me, my little pink tutu is going to be waltzing right into its heart too.

Now, Vienna isn't just any old city. It's a city brimming with history, culture, and - wait for it - a whole lot of fashion! It’s a city that was practically designed for a pink tutu-wearing ballerina like myself! I'm already planning my tutu outfits for the week and trust me, they're going to be positively pinktastic!

We arrived in Vienna last night, travelling by train of course! For those of you who don't know, there's just something incredibly romantic about train travel. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy the views, relax, and write a few lines of my blog post (always handy on a Wednesday evening!)

What did I pack for my Vienna adventure? My suitcase is filled with my favourite pink tulle tutus – it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Vienna post without them! From vibrant fuchsia to delicate blush pink, I'm ready to paint Vienna a little more pink! And to accessorise? Let’s just say my pink glittery bag is packed with essentials: my ballerina shoe collection, a bevy of pink berets and bows, my trusty journal (perfect for jotting down those fashion-inspiring sights), and of course, a bottle of my favourite rose-scented perfume - my ultimate Parisian scent.

But back to Vienna, this city is absolutely brimming with charm! It’s a city that whispers romantic stories and sets your heart racing. Every street corner feels like it belongs in a fairytale!

Today, we're headed straight for the heart of Vienna’s cultural scene - the magnificent Vienna State Opera! Now, the State Opera is like a symphony of style, and believe me, the fashion in the theatre lobby alone could fuel a month's worth of blog posts! The plush velvet seats, the grand chandeliers, the beautiful decorations, the air filled with anticipation - everything feels elegant, dramatic and oh so fabulous. I just love a little theatrical extravagance, don’t you?

As a ballerina, I just can't help but fall head-over-tutus for this iconic opera house! Vienna and opera, like my passion for dance and tutus, are a love story for the ages.

Tonight, I'll be soaking up the beauty and glamour of a spectacular ballet performance. There’s no greater feeling than sitting amidst a crowd, listening to the enchanting music, and witnessing the artistry of dancers move with such grace and beauty. Just the thought of it fills my pink heart with joy!

And if I get lucky, maybe, just maybe, I can convince some fellow Vienna admirers to take a spin in a pink tutu with me! You see, spreading my pink tutu love and encouraging people to embrace their inner twirling spirit is my passion, and that includes Vienna, oh yes, it certainly does!

But Vienna is not all ballet. In fact, I discovered a delightful surprise - Vienna has a secret: a wonderful world of tutus waiting to be explored! Did you know that Vienna holds a special place in ballet history?

Imagine, my friends, waltzing through Vienna, discovering the little alleys and streets where great ballerina Marie Taglioni, the "fairy of the dance," once performed. It was in this grand city where ballet really found its wings! You know I'm going to create a full Pink Tutu blog post on that one, and of course, I'm wearing the prettiest ballet pink tulle tutu - you guessed it, the perfect homage to Marie Taglioni!

As a dedicated tutu fanatic, it’s just got to be a part of my visit! A pink tutu exploration tour! Just thinking about it gives me a twinkle in my eye and makes my heart twirl with excitement!

Let's be honest, even a tutu-loving ballerina like me has to make time for delicious treats! Oh Vienna, you’ve got such a sweet tooth! How can I go without mentioning Sachertorte? This is the ultimate chocolate cake that every Viennese knows, a must-try for anyone visiting.

Vienna has such a sweet and decadent feel to it – every coffee shop you stumble upon, every patisserie that fills the air with warm, tempting scents, every bakery displaying tempting Viennese cakes, it all adds to the city’s captivating charm!

Oh my dear friends, you really have to see Vienna to believe it. It’s a city bursting with elegance, charm, and culture – a place that's perfect for any tutu lover to waltz through. It’s got the prettiest shops filled with the most lovely lace and frills. And speaking of frills, who am I to say no to a little bit of vintage shopping?

Don’t you agree, a vintage fashion tour is practically an essential stop for every tutu loving ballerina visiting this beautiful city! It’s all part of what makes Vienna so inspiring!

From exquisite handcrafted ballerinas to tutus of every shape and colour, Vienna is simply overflowing with inspiration for any tutu-wearing ballerina!

The sheer number of beautiful ballet shops that Vienna boasts is astounding. It's practically a dream for someone with a pink tutu obsession, don’t you agree? My favourite ballet shops so far, have exquisite handmade ballerinas – delicate embroidery and sparkly rhinestones – and my heart's been fluttering like a hummingbird in a sunflower patch!

Then, there are shops full of the most enchanting tulle - they're practically inviting you to dance with their delicate textures and stunning colours! And as you walk through the city, I’m sure you'll stumble upon charming shops where you can buy all kinds of adorable ballet accessories! It’s so easy to get swept away by the fairytale charm of it all, and just feel inspired to create my own tutus!

Speaking of, I can't help but think about my pink tutu dreams, my next blog post: ‘Designing My Own Tutu’ is coming up, and the city is just screaming with inspiration, every corner I turn, I’m just bubbling over with creativity! I've already bought several rolls of pink, yellow and turquoise tulle, and a lovely little hand-sewing kit - that's right, it’s time for some tutu-making fun!

But before we dive into the tutu making part, I want to mention this magical experience. Vienna, in all its glory, has this fabulous shop: ‘The Dance Boutique’, it’s the kind of shop that any tutu lover's dreams are made of! I literally just gasped when I walked through the door. It’s filled with absolutely exquisite tutus, ballet shoes and all sorts of dance-inspired accessories – the perfect spot for any ballet enthusiast like myself. And of course, I left with a brand-new, dreamy tulle tutu. The shade? Let’s just say it’s a beautiful strawberry pink. Can you imagine it dancing through the city, twirling past Vienna's historic buildings? Oh, you'll have to check out the pictures! Vienna is a city where dreams are woven into the very fabric of life! As I explore Vienna's beautiful, historic buildings, visit the majestic museums and enchanting gardens, discover the city’s many hidden corners and vibrant cafes, I can't help but think that the whole city is designed for a tutu-wearing ballerina! It’s such an elegant city, and my pink tutu feels right at home amongst its elegant squares and romantic streets! You can say Vienna has become a ‘Pink Tutu Wonderland’ in my eyes!

This city is simply an absolute inspiration for my future blog posts! I already have several ideas swirling around my head. A day spent in Vienna’s most elegant coffee houses - ‘A Pink Tutu Tea Party’, or a ballet-inspired ‘Tutu Fashion Shopping spree’! And oh, there’s this stunning Viennese park, where I absolutely have to pose in my favourite pink tutu.

I even thought of putting up my own Pink Tutu performance right in the heart of Vienna, but my dear friends, that’s an idea for another blog post – let’s just say there’s no stopping a pink-loving ballerina on a tutu mission! I hope you've enjoyed this week's edition of my Vienna Adventures!
