Hello my darlings! Emma here, back with another thrilling Pink Tutu travelogue! Did you know that November 2022 was absolutely overflowing with draggy goodness? Well, if you didnāt, then honey, youāre in for a treat because today weāre jetting off in my magical time-travelling pink tutu, heading back to a month filled with queens, shows and oh, so much pink!
Itās been a busy few months here in Derbyshire. The autumn winds have brought a chilly snap but the local drag scene is hotter than ever. The new āGlitter & Glueā night at the local pub has been a smash, and even our granny in the village has taken up crocheting pink tutus (though I can't say Iām quite ready to put on her latest creationā¦ more on that later, perhaps). I've been busy performing, funding my adventures, you know, living my best life! The good news is that you can too, darling.
Remember, everyone can have their own time-travelling tutu! If you canāt quite manage the actual time travel, fear not, my darlings. The wonderful world of the internet and its boundless information will whisk you back through drag history quicker than you can say āwig-snatchedā (though the hair-sprays are strong back thenā¦!).

11 November 2022: A Month Of Glamorous Discovery
November 2022 - what a whirlwind! Firstly, oh darling, did you know that November is World Vegan Month? You know what that means! Itās time to rock some cruelty-free glam! Not only does it make for a much more compassionate world (and, letās face it, no one wants to be mean to adorable bunnies, do they?), but there are loads of fantastic, colourful vegan options out there ā from lipsticks to lashes, weāve got all the fab cruelty-free goods to keep us shimmering, dazzling, and ethically gorgeous!
The highlight of the month, though? Why, itās Drag Race UKās Season 4 premier, of course! The excitement, the sequins, the fierce performances! Itās all so delicious, darling, and the perfect inspiration to kick off a month full of glamorous moments. You see, on the 11th of November 2022, the UK drag queens stepped onto the runway for the very first time in the new season! I don't want to spoil the amazing fashion, drama, and talentā¦ you simply have to watch it for yourself! I assure you, honey, you wonāt be disappointed.
November - A Blast From The Past
November isn't just about the exciting happenings of 2022, itās also a reminder of drag's vibrant past! So many of the queens we know and love today have roots stretching back to previous generations of fierce performers. This month, we'll travel back to some iconic moments:
Remember **RuPaul's Drag Race: _Season 14 premiered in January 2022 and we saw queens like Maddy Morphosis, Jorgeous, and Lady Camden grace the main stage! All the fierce looks, lip-syncing battles, and drama that kept us glued to our screens for months. And remember all those fantastic runways, from āThe Bitchelorā to "Daytona Wind"?!
Donāt forget the *_Queens on the Runway!_ There are so many wonderful, innovative fashion houses creating couture for our fabulous queens! November brought so many beautiful looks that sent shockwaves through the world of drag fashion, from the stunning* House of Ava** _ and their beautiful pieces (ooh la la, weāre obsessed with that Ava Glamour Dress, aren't you?) to the House of Balmainās_ runway that left us all gasping.
