Oh, darling! Happy December! The countdown to Christmas has officially begun and I'm absolutely brimming with festive cheer! As you know, every month, your favourite pink tutu-clad time traveller takes you on a whirlwind tour of the most fabulous, campy, and frankly iconic moments in drag history! And, well, babes, this December is truly going to be a ballet blitz, so get your sequins shimmering and your hair in a perfectly placed beehive - we're diving in!

The competition was fierce, the looks were jaw-dropping, and the performances were mind-blowing! What a magnificent display of drag excellence! This show absolutely proved that drag is truly a global phenomenon, transcending borders and languages.
Drag Mania On Stage & Screen: Drag queens were everywhere, shining bright across all platforms. Remember how those Drag Race girls took over the red carpet? From the stunning runway looks of Miss Fame to the iconic hairstyles of Aquaria, those queens gave us everything! Speaking of iconic hairstyles, you can bet those dramatic wigs, sculpted looks, and daring makeovers made a serious splash on TV screens, dominating the makeup and hair trends of the year! Oh, the sheer beauty of it all!
From Drag to Disco: Oh, how we loved the iconic RuPaul's Drag Race cast reunion performances! Darling, let's be honest, one of the most exciting things about drag is the absolute art of transformation. From dramatic, theatrical makeup, to towering wigs, to those absolutely divine, shimmering outfits, those queens made us gasp in awe every time they took the stage.
Let’s be honest, drag queens are true masters of fashion. December 2022 saw an explosion of vibrant colour palettes and shimmering fabrics! Imagine: A kaleidoscope of dazzling looks. We had sleek power suits with bold shoulders and pops of colour, the iconic ball gowns with feathered sleeves and glittering jewels, and those seriously bold statement looks, that just defied gravity, made a statement, and honestly stole the show. The queens certainly delivered, from head to toe, with creativity and confidence!
But, of course, my personal favourite will always be a fluffy pink tutu. And the way drag queens know how to embrace that classic garment? Divine!
