Dearest readers! I hope this post finds you all perfectly preened and fabulous! Can you believe it's December 2025 already?! This month we're whisking back to 2025. Oh, that year was so exciting for us dragsters, darling. The world was buzzing, I tell you!

You’ll find me dazzling in a shimmering pink tutu (obviously) across the UK – including a special performance at the legendary Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out!
Now, onto this month’s historical journey! As I whipped my sparkly pink tutu into a whirlwind (you should have seen the glitter storm!), I landed smack bang in the midst of December 2025. The world was glittering with the promise of holiday parties and dazzling New Year's Eve bashes. Everywhere I turned, the air hummed with anticipation and joyous sparkle.
It was simply divine, darling! Just picture it – glittering chandeliers casting an ethereal glow, fabulous dancers whirling through the air in their sequinned gowns, and, of course, the stars of the show - the queens! They were absolutely serving! And not a single pink tutu out of place – can you believe it?
The drag scene was bustling – think roaring nights at glittering clubs, epic street performances where the drag queens transformed the city streets into shimmering stages, and even a fabulous pop-up Drag Museum featuring a retrospective of legendary queens.
And speaking of the stars, oh the glamour, the camp, and the sheer audacity! A bunch of fierce queens were at the top of their game, serving looks that made even me – a queen of fashion – gasp! They were using their platform to bring important social messages to the fore, spreading joy, glitter, and a whole lotta love across the globe. They truly embodied what it meant to be a drag queen in 2025.
Oh! And a quick shout-out to the iconic ‘Drag Across The Globe’ competition – a dazzling show that captured hearts worldwide. Queens from all over the globe came together to share their stories, talents, and fierce drag artistry, celebrating inclusivity and community like never before. It was a true testament to the global power of drag!
Now, onto my outfit! Darling, I was positively rocking a shimmering pink tutu with a feathered boa and a pair of dazzling diamante-encrusted stilettos – * naturellement! It went without saying that I was looking absolutely divine! But what was the best part, you ask? My tour group was absolutely loving the experience – they even tried their hand at some * très chic drag looks with our amazing make-up artists. They were, of course, all decked out in their own fantastic pink tutus! The magic of sharing drag with everyone! It truly was a moment I’ll treasure forever.
I also managed to get a little shopping in during my time in 2025. I stumbled across this amazing boutique called "Sequin City." Darling, you wouldn't believe the treasures I unearthed there – think sequined bodysuits, feather boas, glitter wigs, and of course, enough pink tutus to satisfy the desires of every glamorous soul in the kingdom.

So, the year is 2025. The world is a shimmer of excitement! The streets are buzzing with glitter, fabulous street performances, and captivating cabaret shows. Here are a few highlights from my December trip to 2025 - prepare to be amazed, darlings!
Drag Queens Who Made Their Mark!Let's kick things off with a spotlight on some of the legendary drag queens who made history in 2025:
Cherry Bomb: A truly iconic figure in the international drag scene. Cherry Bomb’s style is described as “cyberpunk drag” - it's futuristic, rebellious, and unapologetically edgy. Her look – think shimmering latex, electric colours and gravity-defying hairstyles – has made her a must-see queen for audiences across the world.
Sparkle Sparkles: A fierce fashion icon, Sparkle Sparkles stole hearts with her impeccable fashion sense. This fabulous queen rocked high-concept avant-garde looks and dazzling drag make-up. Her creations are truly works of art, featuring exquisite gowns and stunning accessories - a true inspiration for drag fashion worldwide. Her style is glamorous, witty, and totally unexpected.
Max Mercury: This superstar queen burst onto the drag scene with a fierce blend of camp, sass and stellar comedy. His drag performances are filled with heart, laughter, and a whole lotta heart!
- DJ Dragstar: A dazzling queen who turned the world of drag music on its head! She created a series of mesmerizing mixes that redefined drag music, pushing the boundaries of electronic music and pop with infectious energy. Her live performances were legendary - they had people dancing on the tables and begging for more.
But wait – there's so much more to 2025 drag than glittery looks and witty banter! These queens made sure they were using their platform to make a difference! Let’s take a closer look.

She truly embodied the role of drag as a powerful platform for social change!

It’s An Industry
Drag became a force to be reckoned with! Think fierce queens starring in high-profile television shows, creating their own merchandise and branding, and being recognised as some of the most talented entertainers of our generation. It was a testament to the passion, creativity and unwavering drive of this fabulous community. * Sparkle & Co: This company, headed by Sparkle Sparkles, revolutionised drag artistry. The company was all about creating innovative makeup lines and drag fashion collections – catering specifically to the needs of modern drag queens.

Drag Fashion Week – What is better than drag fashion week? It’s not just a celebration of drag fashion – it’s a major cultural event featuring incredible shows, runway competitions, and industry professionals from all over the globe!
The 2025 drag scene saw drag explode into the mainstream. The dazzling queens took over, making their mark across television, film and beyond! The lines between the entertainment world and drag were becoming wonderfully blurred.
Drag on the Small Screen
The ‘Queen Of The Ball’ reality competition – It showcased the artistry, glamour and dazzling performances of talented drag queens from all over the globe. It also featured some fabulous backstage moments – revealing the personalities and unique stories behind each of these fabulous queens.
- The 'Drag On Demand’ platform was absolutely changing the way the world consumed drag! They’re providing an outlet for showcasing emerging queens, allowing fans to get up close and personal with their favourite queens, and exploring the captivating history of drag. It’s truly a space where you can get your daily dose of drag magic and celebrate the endless world of fabulousness.
Drag On the Big Screen
The big screen embraced the world of drag in 2025 with *'Diamonds in Drag', * – an animated musical film showcasing the beauty, courage, and power of a drag queen, and her incredible journey to discovering who she truly is!
Drag Goes International
Drag’s global impact was undeniable. Queens from every corner of the globe were inspiring hearts and minds with their dazzling performances. And as the world started to celebrate diversity in an unprecedented way, drag found itself at the heart of it all, pushing boundaries, celebrating individuality and reminding everyone to embrace the beauty and uniqueness of being different.
From Street Shows to Drag Theatres The 2025 drag scene saw incredible live events transforming the drag experience for both queens and their fans! The streets were buzzing with impromptu drag shows, showcasing the artistic brilliance and incredible talents of drag queens in unexpected spaces – transforming public squares and even metro stations into glittering stages. There was a certain wild freedom, darling, to seeing drag queens unleash their creativity, expressing themselves through dazzling performances, music, and street-style artistry.
But 2025 also marked the emergence of drag theaters! Drag shows transformed into theatrical events that embraced the spirit of collaboration! These immersive productions often incorporated dance, theater, film, and interactive elements – giving the audience a truly unforgettable experience. They weren’t just showcasing dazzling performances - they combined artistic expression, storytelling and a whole lot of love – and it was glorious.
