Hello Darlings!

Emma here, your favourite pink tutu wearing, time-travelling drag queen extraordinaire, and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com, your one-stop shop for all things fabulous! This month, we’re whizzing our way back to the future, to August 2032, a time of great excitement and a whole lot of pink, you just wait!

First things first: I'm rocking a magnificent fuchsia feather boa, topped off with a dazzling tiara adorned with rhinestones. My pink tutu? A masterpiece, swirling and swirling, and oh, the feather boas, they practically take up their own zip code, (no joke darling, it's almost a full blown feather cloud). Let’s not forget a glorious, sequined corset that makes my Derbyshire figure look positively divine. You see, even while travelling through the vast time-space continuum, a girl’s got to look fabulous. It’s just good manners!

Anyway, enough about my glamorous ensemble. Let's talk about August 2032! The future's already looking pretty spectacular, you guys. In drag, things have gone next level and beyond. We're talking immersive theatrical performances where the audience are fully engaged with a drag-themed story world! Think of the most exquisite costumes, and think dancing, storytelling, singing, all tied together with a big helping of pink. Drag has literally become theatre, and it's beautiful, a joyous spectacle with so much joy and artistry on display.

But it's not just theatre! The biggest trend this month? You guessed it. The Tutu. Everyone is rocking tutus, not just queens, but the whole community, it's a massive wave of pink. Imagine an enormous street performance, all with everyone decked out in pink tutus. It's literally a visual feast, and we can't thank the legends like myself enough for getting those little pink-fluffy clouds trending all those years ago! I even managed to make it on a new reality show, “The Time Traveller and The Tutu”! Can you believe? You know that little ol' me got a tiny bit emotional during filming...

What else can you expect in dragland for August 2032?

• “Drag Queen: The Movie”, a biographical epic starring the divine Sasha Fierce, will be getting a re-release in every country. The storyline? An homage to the greats of drag history, of course! I had a wee cameo myself, mind you. Just a brief flash of a tutu as I zipped past, but I'm on camera darling, everyone knows I’m an official diva on this planet!
• The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ franchise has now expanded to literally every corner of the globe. It’s madness really, but they are giving everyone the ultimate platform to strut, perform, and most importantly, shine! They’ve even gone virtual with ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: Meta’, and the performances there are mind-blowing. Just picture: drag queens floating through a virtual wonderland all while their drag selves remain beautifully grounded!
• And here’s a bit of gossip. We all know that RuPaul is going on tour. Now, you’ll just have to imagine her entrance. A whole load of glitter that just dazzles. Oh, and that iconic look... She’s bringing the heat like a giant sequined flame!

It’s all been pretty fabulous this August, but as much as I adore this sparkly time-hopping world of ours, it feels extraordinarily important to be living in this moment right now. Drag in this moment is alive with so many creative possibilities. The drag world of August 2032? A celebration. The drag world of today? A platform to be courageous, expressive, and powerful!
