Hello darlings! It's Friday again, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu Blog London post! This week, I'm absolutely buzzing because I spent a delightful day exploring the magnificent city of London! My journey started in my beloved Derbyshire, where I'd just finished a thrilling performance of "Swan Lake" – the audience loved it, and my pink tutu certainly stole the show, naturally! The applause was almost as exhilarating as the train ride to London! I love the energy of travelling by train, especially when you're rocking a pink tutu! It just attracts so much attention, and it always brightens up people's days.
The train journey was a beautiful blur of green fields and charming towns, with a dash of excited chatter and laughter from fellow travellers who couldn't help but comment on my vibrant, pink outfit! I always feel like a princess travelling in a tutu, and today was no exception.
After arriving at Paddington station, I grabbed a delicious, freshly-baked croissant from a delightful café – it's impossible to resist those buttery layers of heaven! It gave me the energy boost I needed for a full day of London delights.
First stop: Harrods! The place was buzzing with life! I adore Harrods. It's like a playground for fashionistas, full of glistening clothes, dazzling accessories, and gorgeous displays. There was even a Christmas section already! It feels magical just stepping into that glorious, extravagant world. My favourite part of Harrods, though? Their incredible pink tutu collection – yes, you read that right, darling! They have an entire dedicated section for tutus – it’s heaven on earth! I’ve never left without finding a new tutu or two, and this trip was no different!
Speaking of heaven, the gorgeous pastries in their patisserie were calling my name. I just had to try one, or perhaps two – because who can resist a delectable strawberry tart and a buttery, flaky pain au chocolat? It's practically a sin not to, isn't it?
The Show Must Go On: The Theatre's Magic!
Of course, no visit to London is complete without a touch of theatre magic. I was thrilled to snag tickets for "Miss Saigon" - a classic and powerful production that had me glued to my seat. The music, the costumes, and the actors – absolutely brilliant! It left me wanting to dance in my pink tutu down the street, which is, as you all know, my ultimate way of expressing excitement.
The magic didn’t end there! I finished the evening at The Globe Theatre for a delightful outdoor performance of "Romeo and Juliet". Now, Shakespeare on a crisp London night – a classic combination, don’t you think? It was a beautiful, starlit experience that left me feeling inspired. I adore the historic charm of The Globe. It's like stepping back in time, and the intimate setting really transports you into the story.
Pink Tutu Travels: Fashion, Fun, and Friendship!
You might be wondering how I fund all of these incredible adventures? Well, darling, I’m not afraid of hard work! As I mentioned earlier, my ballet performances help fund my travels. I love being able to combine my passion for dance with the joys of exploring new places and sharing my experiences with you all! Plus, performing with my pink tutu adds an extra sparkle and charm to every performance.
And of course, I have to mention the wonderful friendships I’ve formed through my adventures. From fellow ballerinas to passionate travellers, each encounter adds a new thread to the colourful tapestry of my life. We share stories, laughs, and, of course, some delicious food – especially if it's anything pink!
Speaking of food, did you know that it's "National Vegetarian Week" in London this week? There were so many exciting vegetarian cafes and restaurants to explore! My absolute favourite was a quaint, charming spot in Soho – I couldn't resist trying a decadent pink smoothie. What’s a trip to London without some scrumptious vegetarian treats?

Every Friday, I’m here, on Pink Tutu Blog London, ready to inspire you to chase your dreams, wear a pink tutu with confidence, and find your own magic in the world. Remember, darling, the world is your oyster, so go forth and wear that pink tutu with pride!
