Pink Tutu Blog London: Post #1065 - Friday 2017-01-27 - Exploring the Capital in Pink!
Hey everyone! Emma here, back with another post from my little pink world. As usual, this week's adventure takes me to the wonderful city of London. I love my regular train journeys up from Derbyshire, it's such a fun and relaxing way to get to London.
The great thing about London is that it has so much going on all the time. Today was packed with dancing, fashion, and the biggest helping of London vibes I could get in a day. But before I delve into all that, I wanted to take a moment and talk about something really important to me.
The Pink Tutu MovementRemember my motto? "Life's too short for beige!" I'm on a mission, my dears. A mission to spread the pink tutu joy across the globe, and what better place to start than London, eh?
Now, I know what you're thinking: “Pink tutu in London? Are you mad?" I hear it all the time, but I just laugh! Who wouldn't want a little more twirling joy in their lives? And honestly, my pink tutu really doesn’t attract too much attention in a city that’s already bursting with individuality.
Anyway, my point is: Don't be afraid to express yourself! Whether it's rocking a pink tutu, a bold lipstick, or anything that makes your heart sing, wear it with confidence and let your inner sparkle shine. We've got one life to live, and why waste it being bland?
Speaking of living your best life, let's get on with this fabulous Friday!
Friday's Adventures:Today started bright and early. The smell of bacon in the air from the train cafe woke me right up! After all, there's no point in rocking a pink tutu if you're not ready to face the day with energy!
My first stop: The magical world of Covent Garden! It's buzzing with creativity, beautiful people, and street performers, plus I absolutely love their fantastic flower market. They even have amazing flowers on a Friday morning. I could spend hours in the market just enjoying the colours, shapes and scents. It’s truly an inspirational place to find something unique for your wardrobe.
I spent a happy hour shopping for some pretty, girly, springy dresses, perfect for a visit to the theatre. Today's London show was "Swan Lake" at the Royal Opera House! It was pure magic, my dears, and even I managed to fight back a few tears! (Don’t worry, my makeup remained flawless! ).
You know what I love most about seeing ballet shows? The intricate costumes and all those elegant movements. It's just so breathtaking, I never tire of it.
Of course, a day at the ballet wouldn't be complete without a visit to my favourite tea room. London is chock full of enchanting little tea rooms with delightful cake and pastries. The teapot selection at my spot is mind-blowing! After some tea and delicate treats, I felt revitalized and ready for a bit of evening magic!
My final London adventure? You guessed it – a ballet performance. I took myself to see a stunning rendition of “Cinderella”, this time performed on the West End stage!
The whole night was a dream, a delightful combination of classic fairy tale with fantastic music and graceful dance. I was enchanted. There’s something truly special about seeing a story unfold right before your eyes – it sparks the imagination and reminds us of all the magical possibilities life has to offer.
I love the city for its vibrancy and its incredible passion for all forms of art and culture. This city never sleeps, which means I never have to!
London, I will see you next week. Until then, keep spreading that pink tutu joy and always remember, dear readers, life is short! Wear that pink tutu with pride and twirl with confidence!
