Hello darlings! It's Emma, your favourite pink-tutu-clad ballerina, back from another whirlwind adventure! This week, I'm bringing you straight from the heart of London, the capital of fashion and fabulousness! 💖
After a quick hop on the train from Derbyshire, I was whisked away into a world of bustling streets, vibrant energy, and of course, incredible shopping! 🚄 London never disappoints, and this trip was no exception. It was a Friday, so I was buzzing with anticipation for all the amazing things I could pack into a single day. 😉
A Morning of Magic:
First on the agenda: The London Coliseum! You guys, this stunning theatre hosted La Traviata by The English National Opera, and it was absolutely breathtaking. 🎤🎼 The costumes were spectacular, the singing was sublime, and the emotion… oh, the emotion! My heartstrings were tugged more than once, and I’m not ashamed to say a little tear may have escaped during the final act. It was truly inspiring and reminded me of the power and beauty of classical performance.
Speaking of beautiful things… the interior of the Coliseum is an absolute delight. With intricate details, glittering chandeliers, and plush red velvet seating, it transported me to another era. It was like stepping onto a stage myself!
Lunch with a View:
After the performance, my tummy was rumbling, so we decided to have lunch with a view! 🥪 We chose The Shard, and the panoramic view of London was simply divine. 🏙️ It was the perfect backdrop for some impromptu twirls and photoshoots! Don’t worry, I even had a twirl with a view on the observation deck too!
Afternoon Shopping Spree:
With a newfound pep in my step (and an empty stomach… that London Coliseum really does a number on you!), it was time to unleash my inner shopaholic! We decided to explore the shops around Covent Garden, a true haven for fashion and frills! From trendy boutiques to vintage gems, it was a feast for the eyes and wallet. I snagged a stunning pair of pink ballet flats (obviously) and a cute little straw bag for my summer adventures!
Pink Tutu Time!
No trip to London is complete without a visit to the Royal Opera House, home to the Royal Ballet. 🩰 This time, however, I decided to give a whole new meaning to "ballet" in the heart of London. 👠 I did a mini photoshoot in front of the Royal Opera House, dressed in my most magnificent pink tutu. We captured a photo-shoot to be featured in the latest Pink Tutu magazine - watch this space! It was an amazing moment, channeling my inner ballerina goddess amidst the vibrant energy of the Covent Garden district. It’s all about having a little fun and letting your inner ballerina shine through, wherever you are!
An Evening of Excitement:
Our last stop of the day was a Thriller Live show. What a blast! Michael Jackson tribute show, fantastic live performance and singing! It was everything we'd hoped for and more. There's nothing like enjoying an evening of entertainment with friends! 💖
London Memories:
London was filled with excitement and wonder, and as always, it has inspired me in countless ways. From the mesmerising ballet to the breathtaking cityscapes, every moment was a treasure. Of course, my love for pink and tutus always found a way to sneak in – just ask the lovely shop assistants at Liberty who couldn't stop smiling at my sparkly tutus. 🛍️

Speaking of the lovely staff at Liberty's, I managed to snag some incredible deals on some gorgeous vintage fabrics. I'm already scheming about turning them into custom-designed pink tutu dresses for my next big performance. Imagine a whimsical ballet number with flowing, layered fabrics in vibrant pink tones - oh the possibilities! 👗
