You know how much I love a good train journey - there’s just something about the rhythmic chugging and the anticipation of reaching a new city that gets me excited. And this week, it was all about London, baby!

Your cheers and applause, your ticket purchases and kind words – they fuel my pink tutu travel dreams and allow me to explore these incredible places and share my adventures with you. Every pirouette, every graceful leap brings me closer to experiencing the world in all its beautiful, pink tutu-clad glory!
London Calling!
This week, I'm venturing into the heart of the Big Smoke for a day packed full of exciting discoveries. I’m planning to make the most of the day - and by that I mean finding the most divine shops for tutus and fabulous dresses, indulging in the best ballet classes London has to offer, and soaking in the city’s vibrant energy. Did I mention I’ll be catching a fantastic show at the theatre? You’ll see… I always love seeing what London has in store, and this week is no different!
Starting Strong: A Touch of Vintage Flair
Arriving at the station, the London air is already buzzing. I’m feeling invigorated – it's like the city is inviting me in, urging me to embrace the excitement and discover something new. First stop, Notting Hill! I'm so excited to start exploring this charming area known for its beautiful architecture, charming cafes, and vibrant vintage stores.
You know my motto – a pink tutu never looks out of place in a place with history and charm, and my choice of dress this time? It’s a light-pink floaty dress, with ruffles of course! It’s absolutely perfect for exploring a neighborhood bursting with personality. It perfectly balances that vintage vibe with a touch of modern fun! My ballet shoes, with a little touch of sparkle, add that extra layer of London glamour, you see. I'm determined to find the perfect vintage dress, one with a story that will perfectly capture this amazing trip to London.
Afternoon Tea & Ballet Bliss:
It’s absolutely essential that I incorporate some delicious delights into the itinerary, so what better way to do so than by indulging in a scrumptious afternoon tea? It's just not a London visit without it. It’s an affair of elegance and refinement, served with an elegant pink tea set and tiny sandwiches. Scones, cakes, delicate finger sandwiches – all the traditional staples! What could be more perfect? It’s the ideal fuel for a successful afternoon of exploring.
Speaking of success, my next stop is the Royal Opera House to check in on the Ballet School. I know the feeling of dancing in those beautiful studios and watching the incredible professionals at work! London’s ballet scene is one of the best in the world – so much passion and creativity! Even a glimpse into their world brings me immense inspiration. And, who knows, maybe I’ll find myself stepping into their classrooms, joining in on their classes! The chance to learn from some of the best ballet dancers in the world, well that's what dreams are made of!
A Theatrical Treat: Back to the Golden Era!
This evening's treat is at the Royal Opera House, which happens to be showcasing one of my absolute favorite classic ballets tonight! There's nothing quite like seeing a beautifully crafted ballet performance, the way the story unfolds through graceful movements and the powerful emotion that emanates from every step! You’ll find me, tucked away in the theatre, watching with rapt attention, utterly enthralled. Every note, every gesture… it's pure magic!
I simply adore the elegance of these classical ballets – they draw me in with their delicate grace and elegance! Each gesture, every costume detail transports me to a different world – and I’m completely here for it! London theatre – truly one of the city's treasures. It's such a unique experience, where each show is a world unto itself!
