I’ve always been drawn to pink – the colour of sugar plum fairies, sweet treats, and happiness! Combine that with my adoration for tutus, those delicate clouds of tulle that make me feel like I could fly, and you’ve got yourself a ballerina on a mission: To spread the pink tutu love to every corner of the globe.
Funding my escapades through performances, I pack my bag with sparkly shoes, flowing tulle, and a heart full of excitement. I can hear the sweet melodies of the train, carrying me to new places, new sights, and new ballet adventures!

So here I am, in the very heart of Milan! Today’s adventure begins at the magnificent Teatro alla Scala - what a majestic landmark! I love that it blends history and the grand art of theatre in the most fabulous way.
My favourite way to discover a new city? Take the tram, of course! It allows me to feel the pulse of the city, soaking in the sights and the energy. And this week, I noticed the charming fashion boutiques scattered along the streets - every shop window a masterpiece! Milan has definitely earned its reputation as a global hub of fashion!
Milan, oh Milan, your cobbled streets seem to beckon me to twirl, and the rhythm of your life inspires a dance in my soul. But it's the hidden treasures - the charming cafe's and the cobbled streets, that captivate my heart.
This afternoon, I discovered a charming café - tucked away in a hidden corner, serving up the best gelato. It's my personal paradise for indulging in a sweet treat while observing the bustling life of this gorgeous city.
Fashion Finds - An Eye for Elegance
Speaking of fashion! Milan is truly a feast for the senses, with every street corner bursting with creativity and colour. My ballet adventures also led me to some exquisite vintage clothing stores, hidden in the heart of this dazzling city. I’ve found the most amazing finds – gorgeous beaded belts, elegant lace dresses, and unique silk scarves! Each piece tells a story, reminding me of a time gone by, where fashion was an art form.
The Magic of Ballet
Tonight, my senses will be captivated once again by the enchantment of ballet. I have secured the best seats in the house for La Scala’s production of Giselle. My imagination will dance with the romantic tale of the lovely country girl, betrayed by her beloved, turning into a ghostly Wilis, and seeking vengeance on men who break their vows.
I’ve always been fascinated by the world of ballet, its elegance and artistry. Seeing a live performance in this majestic theater is like stepping into a dream world, full of grace and enchantment!
Beyond the Pink Tutu - Spreading Joy and Inspiration
This journey to Milan wouldn’t be complete without sharing my passion for pink tutus with the locals.
Today, I had the most wonderful conversation with a group of young ladies at the Piazza della Repubblica. We discussed all things ballet – the excitement of a pirouette, the magic of a grand jeté, and the undeniable joy of being in a ballerina’s world.
One of the girls told me she’d always loved the colour pink and she was thrilled to learn more about the pink tutu tradition. Maybe she'll be my next ambassador! Who knows?
