#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post #69 - Bonjour Paris!

Saturday 20th April, 2001

Bonjour mes chéries! It's Emma, your favourite tutu-wearing travel blogger, back with another post from the City of Lights, Paris! This week, I decided to take the Eurostar for a whirlwind trip – a fab way to travel in my opinion, so much more stylish than flying, and you get to look out the window at the countryside whizzing by!

It's so exciting to be in Paris again. The streets are just bursting with colour and energy – it's like a massive fashion show happening every day. And speaking of fashion, have you seen the selection of pink tutus they have here? I swear, every boutique is filled with the most amazing frilly frocks. Honestly, I need another suitcase just for my new acquisitions!

This trip's been about indulging my inner ballerina in every way possible. My first stop had to be the Opéra Garnier, obviously! The building itself is just incredible – like stepping back in time. And let me tell you, the sheer size of the grand hall had me in awe. Imagine dancing on that stage with a sea of people watching you! The ballet I saw was Les Sylphides, a dreamy piece about a poet and his muse – so incredibly graceful, I could barely contain myself! Afterwards, I had the most divine macarons at Ladurée – the pink ones, of course! I swear, they make them in a secret Parisian kitchen guarded by tiny fairies.

After my sugar rush, it was time for a little exploration of Montmartre. What a bohemian haven! The winding streets, the vibrant art, the street performers – everything screamed "Parisian flair." Even the horses and carts were decked out in charming colours, and it was just so picturesque! It reminded me of a charming old-world movie. My camera just couldn’t get enough of it all!

In the evening, I found a fabulous little cafe to watch a cabaret performance – imagine burlesque with a touch of French flair! The dancers were absolutely incredible, oozing with Parisian elegance and sass. They made wearing a tutu look incredibly sexy! And oh, the costumes! I could practically hear the sequins sparkle! It was a truly glamorous experience.

Paris has really exceeded my expectations, as it always does! The city itself feels so full of life and energy – I can already feel it in my heart. I mean, can you even imagine this fairytale? Wandering around Paris, shopping for pretty things, indulging in delicious treats and enjoying stunning art. I can't even put it into words – I just feel so happy! And did I mention how absolutely fabulously everyone is dressed? Parisian style is simply unmatched! I feel like a glamorous movie star. I love Paris so much.

I will continue my journey through this beautiful city, and don't worry - I will keep you all updated on all my fabulous finds, chic outfits, and magical moments. I even saw the most gorgeous pink tutu today! You will all love it! Keep checking in and join me next Saturday as we explore the fascinating Latin Quarter!

Until next time, keep dreaming, keep twirling, and don't forget to wear your tutu!

Lots of love,

Emma www.pink-tutu.com

P.S. Did you know? On this very day, 20th April, 2001, a rare pink diamond was discovered! How fitting, right?! I feel like my Parisian trip is filled with divine, lucky sparkle. Oh la la! 💖💎
