#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 108: Parisian Dreams in Pink!
Bonjour mes chérie's! It's Emma here, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be back with you, reporting live from the City of Lights! Yes, darlings, I'm in Paris!
The Eurostar zipped us here at a speed that almost matched the whirlwind of emotions in my chest - pure joy and a bit of Parisian chic mixed with that unmistakable, addictive hint of pink. (Pink tutus on a train?! Why not?! I wore a pale blush one, obviously - so perfect for a trip that feels like a fairytale.)
You see, I've always dreamed of Paris - the cobblestone streets, the scent of freshly baked bread wafting from charming patisseries, and most importantly, the vibrant dance scene. Did you know that on 19th January, the ballet world celebrates International Dance Day? It's meant to remind us of the power of movement and art, and well, what better place to celebrate it than in Paris? The ballet shows here are beyond amazing! I’m off to see a show this very evening – so exciting!
As you all know, I adore dressing up, and I just cannot resist Parisian chic! It’s been a shopping bonanza ever since I arrived. My latest Parisian find? A stunning pink lace dress – oh, you just need to see it! I bought it in a quaint little shop tucked away on a back street. It's just perfect for exploring the city with a vintage touch, a bit of my own unique sparkle, and of course, my trusty pink tutu peeking out from underneath, just as I like it!
Speaking of exploring, we’ve spent the last couple of days hopping between iconic landmarks, savouring the delectable food (you all know my weakness is pastry, especially with a side of tea), and soaking up the city’s undeniable charm. From the Eiffel Tower, a symphony of sparkling lights in the evening, to the breathtaking architecture of Notre Dame, Paris has completely enchanted me. The energy is electric, you feel it in every single corner, in every bite of a croissant, and most importantly, in every twirl!
But my biggest adventure so far? Discovering a little Parisian ballet school nestled in the heart of Montmartre. I know, I just couldn't resist the chance to learn a few new moves from these incredible Parisian dancers. And, guess what? I’m going back on Monday for an open ballet class! Oh, I’m just dying to find a tiny Parisian tutu that I can add to my collection.
Tonight, the theatre calls! I'll be sure to tell you all about the show in next week's post. I'll also give you all the tips you need for experiencing Paris like a ballerina, from the most magical hidden ballet spots to the perfect places to find that special pink piece of Parisian chic that speaks to your inner dancer. So stay tuned!

Until next week, remember to wear your tutu proudly, twirl your way through life, and keep that sparkle in your eyes.
Bisous,
Emma xx

P.P.S Speaking of Paris, does anyone else think the Seine is a beautiful, romantic backdrop for ballet street performances? I'm thinking of organising one... What do you think? Maybe with a flashmob of pink tutus?!
