#PinkTutuBlogParis - Saturday 2002-01-26: Paris, Mon Amour! 🩰💖🇫🇷

Bonjour, darlings! It's your favourite tutu-clad travel blogger, Emma, here, bringing you a brand-new installment of #PinkTutuBlogParis! This week, I'm bursting with excitement because… guess what?! I'm in PARIS!

Yes, that's right, my darlings! I took the Eurostar – which, by the way, is an absolute dream for a ballerina! It's spacious, sleek, and whisks you through the countryside like a graceful arabesque. We left London at 8am sharp and arrived in Paris by lunchtime, giving me plenty of time to get my Parisian adventures started!

Now, let's talk fashion. The first order of the day, of course, was a visit to the chic boutiques of Paris. I always make it a point to try on the most delightful, elegant pink tutus in every shop I find! Pink, after all, is the colour of love, joy, and – naturally – tutus! It just sets the mood for the whole Parisian adventure!

My shopping bag, adorned with a playful pink satin ribbon, already boasts a collection of the most fabulous Parisian finds! You wouldn't believe the heavenly cashmere scarves I snagged, perfect for layering under my tutu for that chic and warm Parisian look. Oh, and a couple of pairs of divine little ballerina pumps! One pair in pink, naturally, with little pink satin bows and the other a beautiful, deep burgundy shade with the tiniest gold detail. You see, I love matching my outfits with my dancing mood, and burgundy makes me feel absolutely daring!

Speaking of dancing, after my little shopping escapade, I popped into a beautiful dance studio on the Rue de la Paix. There's something so magical about the Parisian dance scene, with all the old buildings and romantic streetlamps casting beautiful light onto the dancers' elegant movements. I even managed to sneak in a few pliés, reminding myself of the grace and artistry of ballet – my lifelong passion!

Tonight, though, my evening is dedicated to one of my favourite parts of being a ballerina and a #PinkTutuBlogger: watching a performance! Tonight’s show is "Swan Lake" at the magnificent Palais Garnier – oh my goodness, I'm just so excited! Just thinking about those soaring ballerinas, those dazzling costumes, that iconic music – I’m tingling with anticipation! It’s the perfect way to immerse myself in Parisian culture and lose myself in the world of classical ballet. And don’t you worry, darlings, I’ll be sharing all the highlights from the show with you next week!

After tonight's performance, there are so many more amazing Parisian adventures in store! We’ll be wandering the enchanting streets of Montmartre, where artists and poets have left their mark on history, sipping the most divine hot chocolate by the Seine, and maybe even taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through the heart of the city! Yes, just like something out of a fairytale! And, of course, there will be more pink tutu sightings! After all, my dear friends, it’s not a true Parisian adventure without a pink tutu or two, am I right?

Speaking of pink tutus, darlings, let's talk about this incredible journey! How am I affording these incredible travel experiences? Well, I’ve been working very hard on my dancing and teaching. I'm fortunate enough to give regular performances in small venues across the UK – and the wonderful people who watch my shows are kind enough to pay me for my performances! You see, ballet is my greatest love – it allows me to explore the world and live my dreams!

So, until next week, darlings, stay radiant, stay stylish, and stay tutu-rific! I'll be posting next week about my amazing Parisian experiences, and don't forget to share your own adventures in the comments section! Let's bring a touch of pink tutu magic to the world, one dance at a time! 💖🩰✨

With love and twirls,

Emma x
