Pink Tutu Paris: Post #111 - A Parisian Fairytale Begins!

Bonjour mes amies!

The Eurostar whooshed me into Paris this week, and oh my goodness, the romance has begun! Honestly, I think the City of Lights is practically blushing pink just to welcome me – how could it not with this fabulous pink tutu swishing around me? 😉

This Saturday, my blog is going to be a real treat. Get ready for an abundance of Paris chic, Parisian fairytale stories, and some serious pink tutu magic!

The Parisian Dream Begins on the EuroStar

Right, so as always, the journey began in good ol' Derbyshire. A quick nip to the station, and then I was in my comfy compartment on the Eurostar. My tutu had its own seat, of course, because let’s be honest, she’s quite the character. We whizzed through the Channel Tunnel like a flash of pink lightning and then poof! Paris!

I just adore the thrill of the Eurostar. It’s such a glamourous way to travel, a real fairytale journey – perfect for a pink tutu princess like myself!

My Parisian Hideaway

Now, the heart of my Parisian adventures is a gorgeous little hotel, all cosy nooks and crannies. Think chic French windows with Juliet balconies and antique mirrors – the perfect setting for a Parisian princess in a pink tutu! I'm quite tempted to simply stay here and live out my Parisian fairytale dream for eternity… But let’s be honest, there's too much Paris to explore!

A Little Ballet Before The Parisian Sparkle Begins

The first thing on my Parisian to-do list, of course, was ballet! I'd heard rumours of this fantastic new dance studio near my hotel – Le Ballet Rose – how could I resist with a name like that? It’s basically a pink tutu’s paradise!

The dance classes are simply divine. Such graceful dancers, such elegant moves, it just makes me want to twirl until my tutu flies off. (Not literally, of course, because let's be honest, that's not a good look).

Shopping Until You Drop - Parisian Chic On a Pink Budget

Paris is truly the fashion capital of the world. Even the shop assistants look effortlessly chic! So of course, I just HAD to indulge in some Parisian shopping therapy.

It started in the charming little boutiques around my hotel – adorable lace doilies, handmade earrings, and even some incredible pink ribbons for my tutu! I definitely have a little black book full of gems that will be my secret Parisian treasure trove for future trips.

The day then turned into a little shopping extravaganza down the famous Champs-Élysées. I have to admit, I couldn’t resist indulging in a couple of the prettiest floral prints and, of course, I'd be silly not to grab some fabulous Parisian scarves to match my pink tutu – let's be honest, scarves are a ballet girl's best friend!

Parisian Dinner and Parisian Dreams

My Parisian day was culminating into something truly spectacular! As the Eiffel Tower glittered, a tiny, authentic French restaurant came into view. With just one glance, I knew I’d found the perfect spot to savour the taste of Paris.

After the best baguette of my life (it was even shaped like a tiny pink tutu – honestly, the magic of Paris is insane!) and the most delightful Parisian steak, I could practically see my Parisian dream unfolding before me.

The Day’s Magical Ending – Parisian Beauty at its Best

Of course, no Parisian experience would be complete without a spectacular ballet performance. I headed to the Opéra Garnier - what a magnificent venue!

The dancers were incredible, graceful as butterflies in their tulle dresses, they twirled and leaped with the precision of angels, their bodies telling a thousand tales through every movement.

Let me tell you, as the final curtain fell on a fairytale performance, I was practically lost in a swirling pink tutu dream world!

Coming up Next Week - Pink Tutu Adventures in Versailles!

Now, for the grand finale, next Saturday's post is going to be an absolute stunner - Versailles! You know me - I’m dreaming of a majestic castle tour in my pink tutu, complete with a photo shoot by the legendary gardens.

Make sure you don’t miss out – head over to www.pink-tutu.com and join me next week.

Until then, stay chic, stay sweet, and stay twirly,

Emma xx
