Pink Tutu Paris: Post 167 - A Parisian Dream in Pink 🩰💖

Bonjour mes chéries! It's your favourite pink-tutu-clad ballerina, Emma, here, reporting live from the City of Lights! I finally made it to Paris, and oh, let me tell you, this city is even more magical than I imagined. The Eiffel Tower twinkles, the pastries are delicious, and the fashion? Let's just say it's seriously inspiring!

My journey started in Derbyshire, England, with the gentle swaying of a Eurostar train taking me across the Channel. I packed my trusty pink tutu, of course, because who can resist a bit of pink flair on a Parisian adventure? I've learned that if you travel by train you never know what interesting people you'll meet. My carriage on this journey contained a group of friendly Parisian girls, heading back from a fashion shoot. They were lovely and so fashionably stylish.

When the Eurostar arrived at the Gare du Nord, I knew I was in for a treat. My hotel, a quaint little boutique in Montmartre, was practically a stone's throw from the Sacré-Coeur basilica, and I have to tell you, its white stone walls are absolutely breathtaking. Even better, there's a gorgeous ballet school right around the corner - can you believe it? This means lots of tutus and plenty of inspiration for my next blog posts!

Saturday morning, the air was crisp and the sunlight glistened on the Seine, My mission was to find the perfect pink beret to top off my already fabulous wardrobe. And you know what? Success! I found the cutest little pink beret with a delicate floral pattern and it was on sale! It sits so beautifully on my head and perfectly compliments the delicate embroidery of my tutu.

I spent the afternoon indulging in the ultimate Parisian treat - a leisurely picnic beside the Eiffel Tower. Imagine the scene: me, sitting on a red checkered blanket, wearing my signature pink tutu and beret, indulging in croissants, cheese, and a glass of rosé, with the most iconic structure in the world as my backdrop. The world couldn't have been more picture-perfect!

In the evening, it was time for my beloved ballet. I saw a phenomenal performance of "Swan Lake" at the Opéra Garnier, an absolutely beautiful theater! I was swept away by the grace and passion of the dancers, it was an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. Afterward, I grabbed a plate of the most delectable macarons, pink ones, of course, and indulged in a moment of pure, Parisian bliss.

I love being here. It is as wonderful and magical as I always hoped. It feels like being in a story book. And there is so much to see and do. My Parisian adventures are just beginning!

Fashion Picks:

Paris has a unique blend of fashion that perfectly marries vintage charm with contemporary style. Today, I've decided to highlight some of my absolute favourite finds that reflect this perfect Parisian vibe:

Next week: I’m going to be attending a master class at the renowned Paris Opera Ballet. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from the best in the world and perfect my pirouettes.
