Hello darlings! It's Emma here, and you won't believe where I am – Paris! 🇫🇷 Yes, this little ballerina has landed in the City of Lights, and oh my, it's everything I dreamt it would be. The cobblestones, the scent of freshly baked bread, the chic Parisians whizzing past on bicycles, it's all so enchanting!
I arrived yesterday on the EuroStar, which is such a lovely way to travel. I popped on my trusty pink tutu – naturally – and snuggled into a window seat, watching the green English countryside give way to the beautiful French landscape. I can’t wait to tell you all about my travels in this enchanting city, so settle in with a cuppa, a croissant (maybe even both!), and let me whisk you away to the magic of Paris!
This weekend's theme? Ballet, Beauty, and Boutiques! As a budding ballerina, I can’t come to Paris without experiencing its world-renowned ballet scene. I have a ticket to the Palais Garnier – how grand is that? – to see a show on Sunday. I can't wait to be swept away by the breathtaking talent on stage and lose myself in the ethereal elegance of the ballet. You know me, I'm always on the hunt for the perfect dancewear – perhaps a new pair of pointe shoes, or a luxurious tutu to add to my collection? I’ll keep you posted on my finds!
Speaking of enchanting, I simply have to explore the beautiful fashion houses here in Paris. Just picturing myself walking past those gorgeous boutiques, perhaps on the Champs-Élysées – my head might just explode with excitement! Of course, I’ll be adding my signature pink tutu flair to every outfit. We're all about embracing our inner pink-tutu-wearing ballerina here at the Pink Tutu blog, darling!
You may be wondering how I'm managing to fund all these exciting adventures? Well, darling, it's all thanks to my passion for ballet! I've been working hard, performing at charity events and local theatre productions back in Derbyshire, England. And the most wonderful part? I get to spread a bit of Pink Tutu joy with every graceful pirouette! 🩰
And now, let me paint you a picture of my Saturday so far…
I started the day with a delightful Parisian breakfast of freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat, a delicious cappuccino, and a scoop of vanilla yogurt – pure Parisian luxury! Then, I hit the pavement and explored the heart of Paris. There were quaint cafes brimming with the scent of coffee and chatter, chic boutiques displaying the latest designs, and historical landmarks that made me gasp in awe. The architecture here is simply breathtaking!
Then, I ventured to the Musée Rodin, a captivating place filled with sculptures by the renowned artist, Auguste Rodin. I lost myself in the beauty and drama of the bronze figures, including the famous “Thinker”. It truly transported me into a world of artistic passion!
Later this afternoon, I'm planning to embark on a romantic carriage ride through the streets of Paris. What could be more Parisian than riding through the streets with the wind in your hair and the cityscape unfolding before you? Maybe, just maybe, a charming Frenchman will join me on my ride, perhaps even one who has read The Little Prince as much as I have! (One can always dream, can't we?)
And as evening descends, I’m going to be experiencing the magic of Parisian cabaret! Oh, the thought of watching elegant dancers twirling under the twinkling lights in a stunningly decorated cabaret… it's like something out of a dream. I’ve been saving up for a show for ages! I know you’ll have to wait until next week for a full report!
