Pink Tutu Paris - #217: A Parisian Waltz of Dreams

Bonjour, darlings! It's Emma, your favourite pink tutu-clad explorer, writing to you live from the City of Lights, Paris! I just know this blog is going to be bursting with Parisian charm and pink tulle – so get comfy, grab a cuppa (or maybe a croissant!), and settle in for my latest adventure.

This week, the Eurostar whisked me away to Paris like a magic carpet, transporting me to a world of romantic cobblestone streets, enchanting cafes, and breathtaking architectural masterpieces. The journey itself was an absolute dream. The elegant carriages, the smooth glide across the Channel, and the delicious pastries from the trolley... Honestly, I think I could have stayed on the train forever!

But then, there’s Paris! Every corner I turned was a postcard waiting to happen, and I've been busy soaking it all in. I spent the morning meandering through the Marais, stopping to admire the gorgeous architecture and indulging in the cutest patisserie you ever did see. They had a pink macaron the size of my head - I nearly burst!

Speaking of pink, Paris just seems to embrace it in all its glorious shades. The soft pinks of the rose gardens, the bold fuschia of the flower stalls, the blush tones of the setting sun… it's truly inspiring.

Later in the day, I headed to the glorious Palais Garnier, the home of the Paris Opera. It's every ballet-lover's dream come true, and it was the most magical experience. From the lavish gold decorations to the sweeping balconies, it truly took me back in time. Of course, I was rocking a new pink tutu, just perfect for the occasion! They were putting on Swan Lake this evening, and I am already picturing myself gracefully gliding across that beautiful stage.

Tomorrow, I have a lovely plan. After indulging in the best French breakfast a girl could dream of, I'm heading to the Champs-Élysées. I just adore that grand avenue - the energy is electric, the shop windows are dazzling, and I'm pretty sure they have a shop dedicated entirely to tutus! Maybe I can convince the owner to wear pink...

You know, it's funny. It seems everyone in Paris is stylish. They carry themselves with such flair and confidence. It makes me want to strut a little more myself, but let’s face it, strutting is hard in a tutu! However, Paris just seems to encourage self-expression. If I want to wear a pink tutu down the Champs-Élysées, nobody would bat an eyelid - maybe just whisper “what a stylish Mademoiselle”!

You can see my new pink tutu on Instagram #PinkTutuParis, by the way!

I’ll keep you all updated about my Paris adventures - more fashion finds, more delicious pastries, more Parisian dreaming, and perhaps, maybe even a new pink tutu or two!

Au revoir for now, and don't forget to wear your pink tutu today, wherever you are!

Emma xx
