Pink Tutu Blog Paris - #291: Bonjour from the City of Lights! 🩰🗼

Hello lovelies! It's your favourite pink tutu-wearing ballerina, Emma, and I'm thrilled to be writing to you from the most magical city in the world – Paris! ✨ I finally made it! The EuroStar whizzed me through the channel tunnel like a dream, and I arrived in Paris feeling like a fairytale princess. (Except with less fancy carriage and more… tutu!)

This is my very first trip to Paris, and you bet I'm living it up to the absolute fullest! Think Parisian cafes filled with the aroma of freshly baked croissants, cobblestone streets bustling with charming little boutiques, and… drumroll… ballet shows, oh my! 💃 That's right, folks! This trip is all about soaking up Parisian culture, and of course, it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Blog adventure without some fabulous ballet performances.

Today is Saturday, July 23rd, 2005, and I've been exploring the city at lightning speed! This morning, after devouring a delicious breakfast of pastries (I mean, how could I resist?!) at a little cafe tucked away on a quiet street, I set off to visit the iconic Eiffel Tower. The views were breathtaking, and even the pigeons seemed a bit more chic in Paris. 😂

This afternoon, I indulged in a spot of retail therapy! It wouldn't be a Parisian adventure without browsing the fashion scene, would it? Let's just say my pink tutu collection has expanded considerably… Pink and tulle overload! 😉 I’m dreaming of how fabulous these new tutu-inspired outfits will look on stage – wait until you see my next performance!

But my favourite part of the day came later this evening: A performance at the legendary Opéra Garnier! Can you imagine, dancing in this magnificent, gilded palace of theatre? My heart was absolutely pounding with excitement! I can't reveal the performance yet (you'll have to wait until next week's post for that little surprise!), but trust me, it was spectacular. The choreography was stunning, the music was enchanting, and the atmosphere was pure magic.

Tomorrow, I'm off to discover some of the city's lesser-known treasures. I hear there are charming little shops tucked away in hidden alleyways, with antique treasures waiting to be discovered. I can already imagine myself stumbling across a beautiful pink feather boa or a pair of stunning ballerina shoes… sigh.

Of course, no Parisian adventure would be complete without a visit to the Louvre, a whirl around the Place de la Concorde, or a lazy afternoon picnicking in the Jardin du Luxembourg. But for now, I'm snuggled up in my cozy Parisian hotel, dreaming of Parisian croissants and dazzling ballet performances.

*Speaking of Parisian croissants… * 😉

You guys know I love a good fashion inspiration, and let's just say I'm absolutely smitten with the Parisian aesthetic. From the flowing silk scarves to the chic berets and perfectly tailored trench coats, Parisian fashion is effortless elegance at its finest.

Here’s a little style inspiration for all you pink tutu lovers out there: Imagine this - a flowing, pink tutu skirt paired with a classic black blazer, a pair of chic ballet flats, and a playful touch of a vintage hat. That's how you create a Paris-worthy pink tutu look! You can never be too extra when it comes to pink and tulle! 🎀

But the best fashion accessory, as always, is confidence! 💖 Wear your pink tutu with pride and never be afraid to twirl your way into the hearts of those around you!

Stay tuned for more Parisian adventures next week! I'm going to share my top tips for a Parisian adventure that's guaranteed to enchant, inspire, and bring a little sprinkle of pink tutu magic to your life!

Until then, stay fabulous! ✨

Lots of love,

Emma
