#PinkTutuBlogParis: A Whirlwind of Pink in the City of Lights! (Post #312)

Bonjour mes amies! It's Saturday, and you know what that means? It's time for a brand new #PinkTutuBlogParis adventure! This week, I'm bubbling with excitement after my first ever EuroStar trip to the enchanting city of Paris. And let me tell you, it was absolutely magnifique.

As the sleek silver train glided through the French countryside, I couldn't resist twirling in my oh-so-pink tutu (because a ballerina can't ever leave her trusty tutu behind!). It was a symphony of whispers, the gentle hum of the train mingling with the clickety-clack of the wheels and the soft, French-infused air whispering through the window. And my tutu? It swirled like a ballerina in a magical dreamland, perfectly embodying the very essence of Paris – romance, adventure, and pure joie de vivre!

Speaking of joie de vivre, can we talk about the beauty of Paris? From the moment I arrived, it felt like I had stepped into a scene from a beautiful, vibrant ballet. The streets were brimming with life, a bustling dance of charming cafes, street performers, and shoppers haggling over the most exquisite treasures in the most fashionable boutiques. I instantly fell in love!

Day 1: Ballet at the Opera Garnier

My first evening in Paris was all about the beautiful world of ballet. After a rather divine dinner at a tiny cafe near the Eiffel Tower (where I enjoyed the most incredible Parisian crepe!), I ventured towards the grand Opéra Garnier. It's an absolutely stunning building! The grand staircase, the gold gilded decorations, and the stunning auditorium itself felt like a set from a lavish opera – I practically had to pinch myself to be sure I wasn't dreaming! The ballet performance that evening, 'La Fille Mal Gardée,' was just phenomenal – every movement so captivating and full of energy. I can't even begin to express how truly magical it was!

Day 2: Fashionistas Assemble!

Ah, shopping in Paris! What a delight. Every shop, from the high-end boutiques on the Champs-Élysées to the hidden treasures nestled in charming back streets, presented a world of fashion to explore. Of course, I just had to add a few new pieces to my Parisian pink wardrobe. And I managed to snag some exquisite gloves, a beautiful silk scarf (oh, it's divine!), and the perfect pair of heels for my next ballet performance back in Derbyshire. (You know me, I'm always thinking ahead for my next performance!).

Day 3: A Royal Day at Versailles

On the third day, we travelled to the Palace of Versailles. Just a little jaunt by train (I absolutely love travelling by train!) and there we were, in this historical paradise. The magnificent gardens were so lush and vibrant, and the palace itself, a breathtaking showcase of elegance and grandeur. I spent hours getting lost in the beautifully ornate halls, imagining the elegant ladies and gentlemen of the French Court twirling through them. I felt like I'd stepped right out of a historical drama, and, dare I say it, like I might just have become one of those elegant court ladies myself!

Day 4: The Magic of the Eiffel Tower

And how could any trip to Paris be complete without a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower? My oh my! It's truly majestic! It looks even more magnificent in person – a shining symbol of Parisian glamour and romantic charm. We took the lift to the top and the view was absolutely incredible! All of Paris laid out before us, like a little ballerina pirouetting in a field of tiny buildings.

Back to Derbyshire with Pink Tutus Galore!

Now, after four unforgettable days in Paris, it's time for me to hop back on the EuroStar and return to Derbyshire. But this time, I'm bringing back a whole world of new pink-tutu inspiration! My imagination is bubbling over with ideas for my next ballet performances, my next shopping spree, and my next blog post – because even though I'm back in England, #PinkTutuBlogParis will be following me every step of the way. I have already decided on a brand new theme: "A Parisian Whirlwind"! Stay tuned!

So, what are you waiting for, darlings? Grab your pink tutus and let's embark on our very own Parisian adventure together!

P.S. Did I mention that the French pastries in Paris are truly a work of art? The bakeries here are heaven on earth! They have pastries in so many shapes and sizes - I just couldn't resist a little indulge! I may just have to make my own Parisian inspired desserts when I get back home! And don't even get me started on the Parisian street fashion! I've found so many fabulous outfit ideas! I’ve definitely been bitten by the Paris bug!*

Have a wonderful week and don't forget to check back next Saturday for another Pink Tutu adventure! Until then, remember: Every day can be a ballerina's day if you just wear a pink tutu and dance like nobody's watching!
