Oh, Paris! The air is so crisp, so vibrant, and filled with the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked croissants and jasmine perfume. I've landed back in this enchanting city, the perfect playground for a pink tutu enthusiast like myself. This weekend, my dancing heart is pounding with excitement as I embrace the magic that is Paris.

You may recall I started my trip from Derbyshire, England. The journey began by train, of course - the Eurostar! The moment I step aboard, my mind is racing with images of the beautiful Parisian scenery that awaits me, along with that delicious blend of history and charm that this city breathes. Oh, and thereâs also the lure of all the divine French fashion â and donât get me started on those French bakeries!
Paris by Night - Sparkling With Style
Arriving at Gare du Nord in Paris was such an amazing experience. As I disembarked, I was overwhelmed with that familiar sensation - that undeniable, magnetic energy of this city that gets under your skin and refuses to let go. You can just feel it all around you, itâs like the city is actually breathing. Thereâs something quite special about it, you know? The air in Paris seems charged with energy.
As a girl who's madly in love with tutus, it doesnât get much better than Paris, ladies. This city is teeming with inspiring ballet studios, fashion houses, gorgeous shops â and oh, the history! We have a packed schedule of events here in the City of Lights this week and I want to make the most of every single moment.
First stop? The Grand Palais! I had to see the magnificent Winter Palace â and yes, you can take me back to the opulent past, the dazzling crystal chandeliers, the towering columns. This iconic architectural wonder really captures the Parisian spirit and its sheer beauty has me dreaming of swans and diamonds and grand soirĂ©es in elegant ballrooms. Itâs simply splendid.
Dancing The Night Away: A Parisienne's Delight
Paris at night, well it is just utterly divine, my darlings! Today, weâre taking a deep dive into the Parisian ballet scene with an exquisite performance by The Paris Opera Ballet. I can't wait to let my imagination fly with every graceful leap, every delicate pliĂ©, every beautiful turn of the foot! And imagine all those incredible costumes.

Tonightâs ballet will have all the usual suspects â graceful dancers, enchanting costumes, sweeping romantic storylines. This time however we are seeing The Sleeping Beauty and yes I'm in complete awe of this classic tale. Imagine the delicate beauty, the timeless fairytale story and all those amazing tutus!
A Ballet Must! - "Le Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris"
You have to get your tickets now - if youâre a ballet buff, I have to add that every ballerinas pilgrimage should include a visit to The Paris Opera House, a Parisian ballet staple and truly a legendary, opulent treasure. The building alone is a architectural wonder - itâs absolutely stunning. Every single performance will make your head spin!
Thereâs simply something so incredibly glamorous, so undeniably theatrical about The Paris Opera Ballet. I have seen so many extraordinary shows here - from the dazzling "La BayadĂšre" and the beautiful "Giselle", to the absolutely breathtaking " Swan Lake".
But itâs the actual dancers who steal the show - every time. And donât get me started on their exquisite costumes! I must find out more about those magical tulle designs â the creators must have a sprinkle of fairy dust in their creative mix. Each costume tells its own story and adds to the spellbinding beauty and sheer spectacle of the entire production.
Oh, itâs so easy to fall head-over-heels in love with Paris! You just feel that this city, that these ballerinas are performing magic and theyâre letting us all be part of it. It's such a thrilling and joyous experience. And for a pink tutu enthusiast, it doesn't get any better.

Of course, the tutu-clad adventures in Paris go beyond the theatre. After all, the most stylish capital in the world begs to be explored, right down to its quirky cobblestone streets. We love our morning strolls along the Seine, followed by the classic Parisian lunch - the very best baguette and cheese anyone can possibly imagine. I just canât resist that!

Of course, you canât leave Paris without an evening visit to a couple of fabulous designer boutiques. Yes, Paris really is an absolute dream when it comes to discovering haute couture and stylish vintage fashions. Every boutique here whispers the secrets of style! This week, we're treating ourselves to a couple of hours browsing at The Grand Boulevard des Capucines, a place with so many treasures, so much stylish flair! Then there's the Marais District - a chic street style mecca where the bohemian vibe just seeps into the streets and blends with fashion, art, history and that unmistakable Paris spirit! And I must confess to being totally smitten with the Marais district, this truly magical spot - I have already visited many times and I will just keep going back to rediscover its wonders - so enchanting!

Just look out for the enchanting Crepe Cart that just materializes on street corners all over the city, bringing those savory and sweet treats and a little touch of magic to all the hungry Parisian lovers. The aroma is utterly captivating - and just wait until you taste the first mouthful. You will have fallen for Paris the minute you see that little cart. I always pick a classic - with sweet strawberries and creamy Nutella, a Parisian classic.
