Pink Tutu Blog Paris - #398: Paris, Ooh La La!

Bonjour, darlings! It's Emma here, back from another whirlwind trip to the City of Lights. This week, I hopped on the EuroStar from Derbyshire and arrived in Paris feeling utterly fabulous, my pink tutu twirling in the breeze like a promise of a delightful weekend. As usual, I’m here to share my adventures with you, my dearest Pink Tutu Posse!

Saturday 2007-08-11 - Paris Fashionably Late

I love how a weekend in Paris always seems to whisk me back to a bygone era. From the charming cobblestone streets to the beautifully preserved buildings, there’s an elegance here that never fails to enchant. Of course, no Parisian escapade is complete without a visit to the legendary Palais Garnier, the opera house that inspired the breathtaking ballet “The Phantom of the Opera”. Stepping inside, I felt as if I'd walked into a fairy tale, with ornate chandeliers glittering overhead, grand velvet seating, and whispers of artistic magic hanging in the air. Today’s programme featured the ethereal ballet "Giselle”, a story that always captures my heart with its delicate balance of romance and tragedy. It was absolutely perfect! I even spotted a couple wearing tutus in the audience – one pink, of course!

After the Performance: Fashion, Food and Fromage

No Parisian experience is complete without indulging in some fabulous shopping! So, after "Giselle," we ventured to the chic boutiques on Avenue Montaigne, a street that pulsates with luxury fashion. I practically drooled over the breathtaking designs in Chanel and Dior. As much as I'd have loved to take home an entire wardrobe, I settled for a darling little pink beret to add some Parisian flair to my look.

To cap off this exquisite evening, we sat down to a delicious dinner in the romantic Latin Quarter, where I savored a rich plate of fromage – one of my favourite French delicacies. The rich, creamy flavours made the entire experience utterly delightful!

The Power of Pink and Tutus - Spreading the Love

You see, darlings, it's not just the shopping or the shows, or even the food that make a Parisian escapade truly special. It's the spirit of it all – the romance, the artistry, the passion for life. In a city brimming with such inspiring energy, I feel truly empowered to spread my message of joy and grace through the magic of pink and tutus. And just like my little beret added a touch of pink magic to my ensemble, I'm always searching for new ways to bring a little more pink and tutu-fied joy to the world.

Looking Forward to Next Week...

My Parisian adventure is far from over! I have more performances to see, more fashion to discover, and more delightful surprises to share with you next week. Make sure to visit www.pink-tutu.com on Saturday for another exciting installment of Pink Tutu Blog Paris!

Stay fabulous,

Emma x
