I arrived in the City of Lights this morning, fresh from the Eurostar. That feeling of pulling up into Gare du Nord, the buzz of the city just beyond the platform, the unmistakable scent of buttery croissants… swoon. Paris truly is a fairytale. 🏰
And, of course, what better way to arrive than in a vibrant hot pink tutu that would make even the most stoic Parisian do a double-take? Think delicate tulle, sparkling sequins, and enough layers to give the Eiffel Tower a run for its money! 😉
Finding My Ballet Muse
The moment I dropped my bags at my darling little hotel near the Louvre, I was off! This weekend, I'm on a mission to uncover Paris' ballet scene. I've already scoped out a performance at the Opera Garnier - I can barely contain my excitement! Those beautiful gilded halls and that historic stage? Heaven on earth for a ballerina like me.
Speaking of heaven, I can't resist a quick detour into the famous Galeries Lafayette. You simply cannot visit Paris without a little luxury shopping, darlings. I'm on the hunt for some Parisian treasures – maybe a vintage beret, a beautiful silk scarf, or, who knows, maybe even a little something pink for my tutu collection!
The Pink Tutu Ballet School
I've always believed that dance is the ultimate form of self-expression, and this weekend I'm immersing myself in Paris' ballet scene! Today, I stumbled upon the cutest little ballet school tucked away in a quaint cobblestoned alley. Imagine: a charming Parisian studio with sunlight streaming in, mirrored walls that reflect graceful dancers, and the music of Tchaikovsky playing softly in the background. 🩰
Even better, I snagged a spot in a beginners' class later today! I can't wait to join these talented Parisian dancers in learning new steps, strengthening my technique, and getting lost in the magical world of ballet. (And maybe even inspiring them to embrace the pink tutu!) 💕
Dinner with a Parisian Twist
Tonight, I'm embracing the Parisian spirit and treating myself to a delectable dinner. Think crisp baguettes, rich wine, and all sorts of heavenly Parisian delicacies. Of course, I'm all dressed up - I might just be a little late because I'll be taking pictures with the locals! The city has such a romantic vibe and everyone seems to have their own style - my outfit with a pink tutu and a little sparkle is bound to turn a few heads! 🥂
Saturday Adventures Await!
Tomorrow is packed with more Parisian fun. I'm thinking a leisurely stroll along the Seine, a picnic in the Jardin des Tuileries (with a touch of pink, naturally), and perhaps even a performance of the most spectacular street theatre I've ever seen.
