Oh, my darlings! It’s Saturday, which means it’s time for your weekly dose of Paris from yours truly, the Pink Tutu Ballerina. This week I’ve found myself in the most enchanting city of all - Paris! I arrived yesterday after a delightfully smooth journey on the Eurostar. I swear, they’ve got those trains purring like a kitten these days!
Now, you might be wondering why I’m in Paris, a question I can answer in two words: BALLET and SHOPPING! Let’s face it, darling, there’s nothing quite like spending a weekend indulging in these two exquisite pleasures.
My Parisian Dream
Landing in Paris was a total dream. The city’s architecture, those chic cafes lining the streets… I practically felt a new pink tutu swirling around me! It felt like stepping into a vintage film - one with a ballerina twirling in the background, of course. I was whisked away to my hotel in a charming old Citroen - I swear, the car looked like something out of a fairytale!
Ballet in the City of Love
My ballet itinerary for this trip is, shall we say, jam-packed! Today I'm seeing the most incredible show, "Giselle" at the Palais Garnier Opera House. Oh my dear, it's the most stunning venue! The sheer grandeur and history of it all had me practically leaping for joy in my tutu! Imagine it, darlings, The Garnier Opera House, shimmering lights, graceful ballerinas… I simply can't wait! I shall update you all with my thoughts on the performance tomorrow!
Tutu-tiful Parisian Style
What would a Pink Tutu Ballerina be without a bit of Parisian style? I can't tell you how excited I am to go shopping. The stores are a feast for the eyes – oh, the possibilities! Imagine pink silk scarves, fluffy white tutus, glittering sequins and gorgeous, classic Parisian style! I've got my eyes set on some seriously pink, vintage-inspired pieces to add to my collection! I’ll be sure to share my finds with you all, darlings, you won't want to miss the haul!
A Perfect Parisian Afternoon
Later today, I’m planning on indulging in some truly authentic Parisian treats. Imagine macarons with tea in a charming little cafe, or delicious, freshly-baked croissants and a coffee, with the scent of freshly baked bread lingering in the air! Perhaps I'll even wander through Tuileries Gardens or visit the iconic Eiffel Tower – talk about the perfect afternoon! I can almost taste the frais (fresh) strawberries with whipped cream, oh my goodness!
French Fashion is for Everyone!
I'm just so excited to see the beautiful style here in Paris, from the most effortlessly chic to the downright playful. And as I wander the streets of Paris in my Pink Tutu, I think about my ultimate goal – getting everyone to embrace the pink tutu life! Because, let’s face it, darling, pink is a color that radiates joy and fun, and tutus are just fabulous!
