Pink Tutu Blog Paris: Post 455 - Ooh La La, Paris! 🇫🇷

Bonjour mes chers amis! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad traveller, Emma, and I'm back with another Paris blog post! This week I'm bringing you all the pinkest, twirliest Parisian adventures, fresh from the City of Lights. 😉

As you know, I'm a massive train enthusiast and this week I embarked on a delightful journey from Derbyshire to Paris via the fabulous Eurostar. There's just something so exciting about hurtling through the countryside, watching the world whizz by, with the promise of croissants and champagne at the end of the line.

Paris always welcomes me with open arms, the Eiffel Tower glittering like a pink diamond in the twilight. This trip I'm particularly excited as my schedule is jam-packed with ballet performances, shopping sprees and a little Parisian culture. Oh la la, what more could a girl ask for?

The Perfect Saturday in Paris

So, let's jump straight in to my perfect Saturday. You know I love to keep my readers informed, so here’s a quick recap of my fabulous day:

Morning: Ballet and Breakfast Bliss

The morning kicked off with a delectable breakfast at the prettiest little café tucked away near my hotel. I enjoyed a fluffy croissant with the freshest coffee imaginable - so divine! The café's decor was so whimsical, I felt like I had stepped into a scene from a ballet.

Then it was off to the Opéra Garnier for a stunning performance of “Giselle.” I've been eagerly awaiting this production for weeks! I mean, who can resist a classic with incredible costumes and breathtaking choreography? My eyes sparkled throughout the entire performance - it was absolute magic. ✨

Afternoon: Shopping Spree at the Bon Marché

After the performance, I headed straight for the famous Bon Marché. My friends warned me it would be hard to resist the tempting treasures within, and let me tell you, they were right! 😱 The sheer volume of beautiful fabrics, stunning dresses, and exquisite accessories overwhelmed my senses, and the little tutu-wearing ballerina in my heart went wild!

After battling my way through a delicious Parisian lunch (that came with an array of complimentary mini pastries!), I fell into the heavenly world of beauty at the Sephora counter. My love for a little rouge and a splash of gloss is no secret, and Sephora just made my Parisian heart beat a little faster. 💕

Evening: Parisian Lights and Glittering Cocktails

For the evening, I found myself perched atop the Champs-Élysées, enjoying a perfectly crafted cocktail with panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower twinkling beneath the Parisian night sky. What more could a girl want than sparkling lights, divine drinks, and a perfect view? 😍

The atmosphere was electric, and I even caught a glimpse of a street performance with the most magical costumes and incredible footwork. They were like modern-day ballet dancers bringing the beauty of art to the streets. I almost felt inspired to take to the streets myself, but instead, I happily observed and clapped along with the cheering crowds.

Reflecting on Parisian Perfection

As the evening fades and the moon bathes the city in its silvery glow, I find myself reflecting on this perfect Saturday in Paris. From the thrill of the Eurostar ride to the awe-inspiring ballet and the indulgent shopping sprees, my Parisian adventure has truly been a dream come true. It just goes to show that life is too short to take yourself too seriously and sometimes all it takes is a touch of pink, a twirl or two and a trip to the city of love to bring some magic to your life.

Paris is always on my mind and I already feel myself planning my next adventure! Don't forget, check back in with me next Saturday for a new dose of Parisian inspiration on the www.pink-tutu.com blog. Bisous! 💋
