Hello darlings! It's your favourite tutu-wearing blogger, Emma, writing to you from the most magical city in the world - Paris!
Oh, this city! Every corner, every cobbled street, every street performer - it just oozes elegance and charm. It's no wonder I've always dreamed of visiting this beautiful place.
This week's blog post is a little bit different. It's more of a diary entry, capturing the moments of our fabulous day in Paris. After a wonderful journey on the Eurostar, (don't worry, I wore my cutest tutu on the train - it’s always a good idea to bring a bit of pink wherever you go!).
A Morning of Parisian Chic
We kicked off the day with a delicious Parisian breakfast in a cafe that felt straight out of a film. Imagine freshly baked croissants, delicate pastries, strong coffee, and the most gorgeous china teacups you've ever seen! I practically did a pirouette in my seat, the atmosphere was so lovely.
After our breakfast, we went on a little shopping spree in the chicest boutiques - I absolutely adore the way the French style their clothing. We picked up a few treasures (and of course, I couldn't resist trying on a few tutus!) You wouldn't believe the incredible vintage finds I unearthed! It’s just amazing, the clothes are all so beautifully crafted, and there’s a touch of whimsical elegance that I just can’t get enough of.
A Taste of the Ballet World
Being in Paris, it felt only right to treat ourselves to a ballet performance. And oh, what a performance it was! I gasped at the precision, the artistry, and the pure talent of the dancers. There were scenes of breathtaking beauty and powerful emotions. They say Paris is the city of love and romance - and with its incredible ballet scene, it's certainly the city of dance.
The Eiffel Tower and a Sparkling Cityscape
A visit to Paris simply wouldn't be complete without climbing the Eiffel Tower. The view from the top is breathtaking. Paris spread out below us like a shimmering sea of lights and twinkling buildings. I almost felt like I was in a dream. As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the cityscape, I just had to twirl around. You see, a tutu in Paris? Well, it's simply a dream come true!
Pink Tutus for Every Parisian?
I've already mentioned the stunning vintage fashion scene, and while the French definitely know their way around a fabulous dress, I do have one burning desire: to introduce the whole of Paris to the magical world of the pink tutu. Imagine the streets filled with bright, twirling colours! Just imagine the joy it would bring! Perhaps one day my dream will come true.
