Well hello darlings! It’s Saturday again, which means it's time for another #PinkTutuBlogParis! I am so excited to be in Paris, the city of romance, fashion, and oh my, the pastries! My heart is absolutely fluttering with excitement – and not just from all those delicious croissants, I promise! 🥐
This week, I'm going to be sharing all the highlights of my Parisian adventure so far. I've been in Paris for just over a week, and I can honestly say, it's even more magical than I could have ever imagined.
From Derbyshire to Paris: A Whirlwind Journey
The EuroStar is such a treat. You simply hop aboard and a couple of hours later, poof you're in a whole new country. The scenery is like something out of a film, with the green fields of England blurring into the French countryside, it's like a dream! As I write this, the train is just pulling into the Gare du Nord, Paris is calling. Time to grab my suitcase, fluff my tulle, and dive right into the heart of the city!
Tutu-fying Paris
Now, you know I simply couldn't come to Paris without donning my very own pink tutu. This one's a special one – a Parisian pink tutu if you will! It's a light, airy design with just the right amount of fluff and sparkle. The fabric, it feels like a whisper of silk and dreams. And of course, it goes perfectly with my favourite pink Parisian beret!
This city is a tutu lover's paradise! Every corner you turn there’s a new source of inspiration. Parisian women are all about that Parisian chic style, but a dash of tutus can truly transform their outfits. Imagine, a chic black dress with a statement pink tutu – perfection!
Ballet, Beauty and the Boulevards
This Saturday is a very special day, a dream come true: today, I’m attending a performance at the Paris Opera! It’s going to be * Swan Lake *! I simply adore the beautiful story, the elegance of the choreography and of course, the classic music. The last time I saw this, I had to hold back the tears. This ballet truly resonates with my soul and makes me appreciate the art form in its highest form! 🦢
Fashionable Finds and Food Fantasies
Of course, no Parisian trip would be complete without a good dose of fashion therapy. I am on a mission to find the most divine Parisian fashion pieces for my wardrobe. Think vintage couture, with a playful, tutu twist! You can already find me browsing the vintage shops, trying on silk scarves, lace gloves, and pearl necklaces. A true ballerina’s paradise. I will of course be showing off my new acquisitions on my Instagram page - don't miss out, darling!
And we can't forget the food. The food in Paris is just heavenly. Every meal is a taste of heaven on earth! Freshly baked croissants with a cup of café au lait in the morning, a cheese board fit for a queen for lunch, and divine macarons to finish the day! You see, it’s no surprise I am completely and utterly besotted with this beautiful city.
Onwards to more Adventures
I've already explored the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg, taken a tour of Notre Dame Cathedral (so majestic!) and enjoyed a picnic lunch by the Seine. This city is bursting with charm, history, and style. There's just so much to see and do – I feel like I could spend a lifetime here and still find something new to discover.
Paris in Pink: A Dream Come True
One of my aims in life, darling, is to get everyone in the world wearing a pink tutu. Now I know this is quite an ambition, but I truly believe that a tutu can transform the world. It represents confidence, grace, and happiness - just like this lovely city! It’s truly an honor to share this adventure with all of you and inspire you to add a touch of magic to your own lives.
