#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post #545: Bonjour, Paris! 🩰🇫🇷

Oh my darling readers, it's me, Emma, your favourite pink tutu-clad ballerina, back with another week's adventures! This week I'm sharing a little slice of Parisian magic with you all - because, guess what? I'm in PARIS!

It's like a dream come true, honestly. I always longed to visit this city of lights, of fashion, of beautiful buildings and incredible art – and I’ve even snuck in a cheeky little ballet class, too! I'll fill you in on everything later, but for now, let me tell you about my journey…

The Eurostar whizzed me through the Channel Tunnel with a thrill I’ve never felt on any other train. It’s not every day you get to go on a proper high-speed adventure! I couldn’t help but grin the entire way, like a giddy school girl off on a trip to Disneyland (which, actually, it did feel a bit like!).

Arriving at Gare du Nord felt like stepping into a whole other world. Everything about the station was so chic and glamorous – even the little patisserie in the corner seemed to have its own sprinkle of Parisian magic. You’ve probably seen all those gorgeous French women, the ones who wear silk scarves with panache, right? I felt like I had walked into one of those glamorous Parisian fashion spreads, and all I could do was stare and smile. It was all so chic.

But then I realised I needed a good, strong cuppa (yes, a real English one!) so I popped into a charming cafe near the station. They were kind enough to give me a teapot instead of the tiny cup you usually get! Perfect. And I'm sitting here right now in this fabulous hotel room. It’s all light and airy, with a giant window looking onto a gorgeous tree-lined street. So idyllic! Seriously, my darlings, it's been love at first sight for me and Paris.

Ballet Bliss in Paris

I arrived just in time to grab a ticket to a stunning performance at the Opéra Garnier! It was Les Sylphides – such a beautifully ethereal and poetic piece. It's one of those ballets that has you mesmerized and whisked away into a world of grace and loveliness. There were so many breathtaking moments – and I'm not just being biased.

Imagine: soaring jumps, gentle movements that whispered of ethereal beauty, and exquisite costumes that floated on the air like dreams. My heart was pounding from pure inspiration – I was swept up in the magic, almost as if I were dancing alongside them.

Later, after all that graceful swirling and magical moments, I went for a walk down the Champs-Élysées, which was positively dripping with romance and magic. Honestly, it felt like a scene from a romantic comedy – everyone looked effortlessly stylish, and the whole atmosphere felt electric.

Pink Tutus and Parisian Chic

Okay, now for some sartorial delight! Yes, my dear friends, Paris has absolutely got me smitten. Imagine, cobblestone streets with their charming shops, every boutique a portal into another world of fashion.

It’s definitely my mission to bring the chicness of Parisian fashion back to England, but don’t worry, I won't be ditching the pink tutus just yet. You know me, a good dose of pink and tutu twirling can't be missed!

I'm absolutely crazy for French fashion – it's so effortless and elegant, but it doesn't shy away from boldness or a touch of whimsy either. And the accessories are divine – dainty scarves, oversized sunglasses, stylish hats. You name it, they have it.

Speaking of my sartorial mission, I think Paris really understands the art of expressing oneself through clothes! This city is a real playground for the adventurous fashionistas, with boutiques crammed full of clothes that whisper “confidence” and “individuality”.

And don’t even get me started on the shoes! I may or may not have fallen in love with a pair of scarlet pumps that look absolutely divine with a crisp white dress – or even a pink tutu (shh, it's a secret!).

My Parisian Adventures Continue...

Well, that’s it for this week, my dear friends! But rest assured, there's much more to come from Paris. I’m busy exploring the Louvre, enjoying delicious croissants at charming cafes, and trying out some seriously decadent macarons!

And of course, you'll get all the gossip and photos from those exciting escapades right here next week.

Until then, keep on twirling, my darlings! And, don’t forget to wear pink (and, of course, a fabulous tutu!).

Your Parisienne (and Derbyshire) gal, Emma x
