Paris: Pink Tutus & Parisian Dreams! (Post #596)

Bonjour, my darlings!

It's Saturday morning, the sun is shining, and guess what? I'm in Paris! Squeals with delight

As you know, this little pink tutu-loving ballerina has a very special place in her heart for this beautiful city. From the charming cobblestone streets and chic boutiques to the iconic landmarks and delectable pastries, Paris is truly a dream come true.

This week, I boarded the EuroStar from Derbyshire, and my heart practically burst with excitement. It feels like an age since I last rode those comfy carriages. And the best bit? A glass of bubbly for a perfectly glamorous train journey. Who doesn't love a touch of Parisian sparkle on their way to the City of Lights, right?

I’m staying at the most darling little hotel in the Latin Quarter. I must confess, it wasn't easy choosing a place. With so many incredible hotels in Paris, each one more fabulous than the last, it took ages to decide. This little one, though, has the sweetest little courtyard where I can sit and write in my blog after a long day of exploring the city, and that was my ultimate aim!

This is the first stop of my Pink Tutu Pilgrimage through Europe this summer. I plan to travel all over, performing my own special ballet shows and sharing my passion for pink tutus with everyone I meet along the way. And of course, there will be tons of posts from every place I visit, bursting with inspiration and outfit ideas – what else would a true fashionista do?

Today’s schedule is packed with a delicious blend of fashion, ballet and, of course, food!

My Pink Tutu Paris Itinerary:

11am: Les Galeries Lafayette. For me, a trip to Paris is never complete without a good old fashioned fashion extravaganza. You know, a little browse for a fabulous pink tutu, perhaps a new handbag or two… or maybe even a pair of Parisian-style pumps that match that cute pink tulle dress I found earlier. Shopping is my form of therapy. And there's no better place to indulge than amongst the designer wonders of Les Galeries Lafayette. It's truly an inspirational feast for the eyes!

2pm: Le Marais district. One of my favourite things to do in Paris is to lose myself amongst the hidden corners of this vibrant district. Filled with art galleries, cute cafes and beautiful boutiques, Le Marais always seems to find a little piece of my heart.

4pm: Moulin Rouge. Today marks the start of a new show, so naturally, this little ballerina had to be in the front row. Moulin Rouge is a real Parisian treasure, and seeing their infamous cabaret show is truly a delight! I might even add some glitter to my tutu to celebrate. Winks

8pm: La Cuisine. An indulgent meal, accompanied by a delicious glass of rosé and, of course, my latest acquisition from my afternoon shopping spree: a pink feather boa.

And remember, darlings, every day is an opportunity to embrace a touch of pink! So why not try adding a dash of pink to your outfit today, just like a little ballerina on a Parisian adventure!

Stay tuned for more pink-tastic updates from the City of Love!

Bisous!

Emma xx
