Pink Tutu Blog Paris: Post 608 - Parisian Pink Perfection!

Bonjour, mes chères amies!

It’s Saturday again, which means a fresh installment of Pink Tutu Blog Paris! The sun is shining (although, it’s always a little cooler in Paris than Derbyshire, isn't it?), the croissants are oh-so-delicious, and the city is buzzing with life. This week, my adventures took me all around the city of lights, and believe me, I’ve got stories galore to tell!

The Eurostar: A Parisian Prelude

This week's journey to Paris was, as always, an absolute delight! Hopping onto the Eurostar is like stepping into a different world – comfortable seats, chic cafes, and the thrill of hurtling towards Paris at over 185 mph. Of course, no trip would be complete without a pink tutu. The Eurostar has such amazing views, and this pink number perfectly caught the shimmering sunlight – so chic! I’ll post a photo to Instagram later – don’t forget to check it out!

The Palais Garnier: Ballet Heaven

Speaking of Instagram, my first stop was the iconic Palais Garnier – home to the Paris Opera Ballet. You can imagine my excitement – the grandeur of this theatre is truly breathtaking. This is where I feel most at home! The gilded balconies, plush velvet seats, and magnificent chandelier left me in complete awe. And the ballet? Magnifique! The choreography, the costumes, the grace – I felt utterly transported. The performance I saw this week featured a brilliant mix of classic and contemporary, showcasing the incredible talents of the Paris Opera Ballet dancers. Every move was so elegant and effortless, it left me utterly spellbound.

Le Marais: Pink Tutu Shopping Spree

After a dazzling performance at the Palais Garnier, I hopped onto the Metro for a shopping adventure in Le Marais. Oh my goodness! This area is like a treasure trove for the fashionista in me. So many boutiques brimming with unique clothing, accessories, and everything pink! I simply couldn’t resist! From delicate floral dresses and stylish tweed jackets to adorable pink hats and glittering bags – I indulged in every Parisian dream. The highlight of my shopping spree? A perfectly pink clutch that I know will be my new go-to for any ballet performance.

Cafe Culture and Croissant Conquests

Parisian cafes have a magic all their own. Sitting beneath a striped awning, savouring a creamy cappuccino and watching the world go by is such a delightful experience. Naturally, my pink tutu always gets a lot of attention. You’d be surprised how many smiles it elicits!

This week, I had a little "pink tutu brunch" in a charming cafe in St. Germain-des-Pres. Picture it – me, sipping tea, enjoying a perfectly crafted croissant, all the while adorned in my favourite pink tutu! The cafe staff even complimented me on my style – it seems pink tutus are making quite the impact on Parisian fashion!

Pink Tutu Promenade Along the Seine

After a morning filled with cafe delights, I decided to wander along the Seine. It's such a beautiful way to soak up the Parisian atmosphere. This city is full of history, romance, and magic. The Eiffel Tower, so elegant against the twilight sky, just completed the perfect Parisian picture. I strolled along the banks of the river, admiring the picturesque scenery and capturing the moment on film.

A Ballet Ball at the Hotel Plaza Athénée

No trip to Paris would be complete without a little dancing! Tonight, I'm attending a grand ballet ball at the Hotel Plaza Athénée. I found a lovely, elegant pink gown (naturally) to celebrate. I'll post a photo to my website next week so you can all see. It’s going to be an absolute dream! With stunning ballroom dancing and the luxurious ambience of the hotel, I can’t wait to soak up the magic!

Making My Dream a Reality – Spreading the Pink Tutu Love

Every time I step foot in Paris, I feel inspired! I'm constantly surrounded by beauty and creativity. This city feeds my love of fashion, dance, and everything pink! I believe every woman has a pink tutu inside her just waiting to burst forth. That's my mission - to share my passion and to encourage everyone to embrace the joy and confidence of pink tutus!

This city feels like my second home and I can’t wait for my next Parisian adventure! As always, thank you for joining me on this journey. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and share your pink tutu experiences with me. Until next week, my dear readers, Stay Pink & Twirl!

Love, Emma xxx

P.S. For those interested, on August 20th, 2011, a wonderful "Ballet de l'Opéra National de Paris" performance featuring "La Bayadère" took place at the Palais Garnier. You can bet I was there to see it!
