Bonjour mes amies! 👋 Emma here, back from another fabulous adventure, and this time, it's Paris! 🗼💖 As you all know, I love a good train journey, and the Eurostar to Paris is a dream – the speed, the comfort, and the stunning views – what's not to love? It's like stepping into a Parisian fairytale! ✨
This week, my adventures have been fuelled by the magic of the city and the thrill of discovering new and wonderful shops! I have to say, Paris is truly a pink tutu paradise, overflowing with beautiful stores, stylish boutiques, and dreamy Parisian cafes! I even found a darling little pink tutu shop that I simply had to share with you all! It's called "Le Petit Tutu," and they have the most adorable collection of tutus in every shade of pink imaginable. You'll definitely be seeing a post about that soon!
This trip is extra special as I’m combining my love of travel with my passion for ballet! My last performance back in Derbyshire went down a storm and allowed me to fund this wonderful escapade! It's a real dream come true. 🥰
Saturday, February 4th – A Perfect Day for Exploring
This Saturday, I woke up feeling like a Parisian princess! The city was buzzing with life, the air crisp and invigorating. After a delightful breakfast of croissants and coffee at a cute café near my hotel (complete with pink tablecloths – you know I had to choose it!), I headed straight for the iconic Galeries Lafayette. It was an absolute whirlwind of luxurious fabrics, chic designs, and irresistible fragrances! The sheer extravagance of it all was truly captivating. I confess, I spent quite some time browsing the designer footwear section… who could resist a pair of beautiful pink ballet pumps, darling? 🤫
My afternoon was all about immersing myself in the heart of Paris's artistic spirit. I ventured to the Opéra Garnier, a breathtaking architectural masterpiece! 🏛️ The gold-trimmed ceilings, the lavish staircases, and the exquisite marble sculptures… it was simply divine! They're hosting "La Bohème" next week – I couldn’t help but snatch up some tickets to see it; it would be criminal to visit Paris and miss this classic. I just love those operas! The costumes, the singing, the dancing! What's not to love?! 💖
In the evening, I discovered the most enchanting street performance in the Latin Quarter. It was a beautiful, graceful ballet show with costumes like shimmering clouds. The passion and talent of the dancers were breathtaking – it brought tears to my eyes! I simply had to applaud! Such wonderful artistry should be seen by everyone, and reminded me to start searching for a new ballet routine I could learn. 😉

The next few days will be all about indulging my sweet tooth and enjoying the delicious pastries that Paris has to offer. I can already picture myself nibbling on macarons and gazing out the window of a cosy café – pure Parisian bliss! 🍰🥐 Of course, I’ll be updating you all with every detail!
