Pink Tutu Blog: Paris - Post 633
Bonjour from the City of Lights!
Can you believe it, darlings? Your favourite tutu-wearing ballerina is finally in Paris! I've dreamt of this trip for years, ever since I first saw the Eiffel Tower in a childhood movie. The EuroStar whizzed me through the countryside with barely a whisper - pure magic. Honestly, I think it's the best way to travel. All that French countryside scenery whizzing past... pure romance! I've arrived in a little Parisian flat just a stone's throw from the Seine, all chic and comfy, with a darling little balcony overlooking a cobblestone street. It’s even got a fluffy pink rug! You know me and my pink obsession...
Now, Paris has everything, hasn’t it? It’s just brimming with things to see and do. And all those amazing Parisian outfits! So much inspiration. From classic French chic to effortlessly cool street style, the city truly has a look all of its own. Of course, my favourite thing is watching the ballet, and I’m off to the Palais Garnier tonight for a special performance of "La Bayadère". Imagine, me in a pink tutu in a real theatre, in Paris! I could faint with excitement!
Speaking of pink tutus, darlings, you know I've already started to find some incredible fashion gems. The little shops in the Marais are pure heaven. I've found this stunning floral-print tulle skirt that will be just perfect for a visit to the Jardin du Luxembourg, and a pair of pink ballet shoes with delicate lace detailing (of course!). Oh, and a vintage embroidered scarf that will add a touch of whimsy to any outfit. I'll show you all the fab finds later on my Insta (@PinkTutuBlog).
But first, today's agenda. I’m making a pilgrimage to the famous La Samaritaine, a beautiful Parisian department store. Then, a stop at the Musée Rodin, where I’m just itching to see all the iconic sculptures by Auguste Rodin – so romantic, just like Paris itself! I can practically see my next blog post in those amazing poses… Oh, and of course, I wouldn't miss out on some macarons, pastries, and that delicious French chocolate - so divine! It would be rude not to!
Paris is truly a feast for the senses. It’s so inspiring. And with my tutu whirling through the streets, it feels like the whole city is swirling around me in a beautiful ballet. Every Parisian cafe, every corner I turn, every street performer is an element in a choreographed performance. I feel so connected to the artistry of the city!
I'll share all my adventures with you next week, darling, including my experience at "La Bayadère" and, of course, all those pink tutu-worthy outfits I've spotted. Don't forget to check out my Instagram (@PinkTutuBlog) and YouTube for extra snippets of Parisian magic! Au revoir!
