#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post #634 - A Pink Tutu in Paris (Part One!)

Hello darlings! It's Saturday, and that means a brand new Pink Tutu Blog post for you, full of all the Parisian delights I've been soaking up this week! I'm Emma, and I'm living my dream, twirling around the world in my favourite pink tutu, sharing the magic with all of you!

Eurostar: A Dreamy Start

The journey itself was a fairytale! Whizzing through the English countryside on the Eurostar is the most luxurious way to travel. The carriage was as stylish as a Parisienne boutique, with sleek seats and views that changed with every fleeting moment. I popped on a playlist of my favourite Parisian-themed songs, got out my sketchbook (which was brimming with inspiration from my Derbyshire Ballet Studio) and the hours just melted away.

First Steps into the City of Lights

My Parisian adventure began with a real flourish (did you catch that, ballet pun lovers? 😄)! As I emerged from Gare du Nord, a flurry of emotions swept over me - awe, excitement, and just a smidge of nervousness (this was my first time visiting the city of dreams, after all).

Then I saw it... the Eiffel Tower, standing tall and majestic, glittering under the Parisian sky! It's hard to put the feeling into words. It was a moment I’d dreamt of for years. I threw my arms out in a little pirouette, spun around in delight, and almost missed the opportunity to take a picture (sorry, world!) But then I caught a glimpse of a cute Parisian cafe nearby, and the real ballet of my Parisian adventure began!

French Pastry Delights

Let me tell you, it’s hard to resist a little Parisian indulgence, and nothing makes a girl happier than flaky, golden croissants fresh from the bakery, paired with a steaming cup of French coffee. They were light, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My inner ballerina sighed in appreciation (the carb-loading will be necessary, I promise!)

The Grand Palais - A Ballerina’s Paradise

My heart almost exploded when I arrived at the Grand Palais! This majestic palace is breathtakingly beautiful, a testament to architectural excellence, with the most stunning grand glass roof you've ever seen. And guess what? Today they were hosting the Atelier des Chefs. Now, I'm not saying I was expecting it to be all things French cuisine, but, oh mon dieu! It was everything I dreamed of and so much more!

Imagine - an array of the most tantalising, artistic food creations I’ve ever seen! French pastry chefs, their faces powdered with flour, creating intricate edible works of art. It was almost too much beauty to take in, like an exquisite ballet of flavours, textures, and aromas.

But Wait! There’s More…

Let’s rewind to before I indulged in my culinary journey. Before the chefs began creating edible masterpieces, there was… a ballet show! That's right, darlings! This was a magical mix of all things I love. A world-class ballet performance in the most beautiful venue, followed by the sheer joy of food-art-creation. A ballerina’s heaven!

I’m so inspired! My own tutu twirling may not have reached the graceful artistry of the ballet dancers, but that’s alright. My creativity flourishes in my own way, and seeing the intricate detail in those ballet movements ignited my artistic passion, even spilling over into my culinary choices at the Atelier.

Pink Tutu, Pink Desserts

If you're wondering what I picked, I can't possibly keep that secret from you. Pink! (Of course!) It's not a day in Paris without a bit of pink inspiration! I enjoyed a "Raspberry and Champagne Verrine" dessert – perfectly layered pink, delicate, and exquisite, like a fairytale confection. It tasted just as divine as it looked!

Shopping on the Champs-Élysées

Who can resist a stroll down the Champs-Élysées? It's the grandest shopping boulevard in Paris, lined with fashion houses, glamorous stores, and a captivating Parisian energy that sweeps you off your feet. I did manage to grab a few lovely new accessories for my ballet performances and, of course, a charming little beret for my Parisian look (gotta blend in!).

The Paris Night - Magical and Ethereal

The day culminated with the magical Parisian night, the city aglow with twinkling lights, as charming as any fairytale scene I've ever imagined. I can't wait for tomorrow's adventures - a visit to the iconic Louvre Museum, to admire the masterpieces of art!

Stay tuned for more Parisian bliss from your favourite ballerina in the pink tutu. #PinkTutuBlogParis #ParisAdventures #TutuLove #Travel #BallerinaLife
