Oh la la, darling readers! Emma here, reporting live from the most glamorous city in the world - Paris!

As you all know, I love travelling and I love France, and a girl could never get enough of Parisian chic! And what better way to explore the City of Lights than with a sparkling pink tutu adorning my ever-so-stylish frame?

This week, I took the EuroStar from my little village in Derbyshire - such a magical journey. Honestly, I could spend the whole trip admiring the scenery whilst sipping on my afternoon tea (with two sugars, of course!). I absolutely adore the speed of train travel and I wouldn’t be without it - no need for that dreadful plane travel, just hop aboard and off you go! I even caught a few extra winks as we zipped past the countryside!

As the train approached Gare du Nord, I just couldn't help but be filled with anticipation! The sights, the sounds, the smells – Paris just has a special energy!

My little Paris flat is in the heart of the Latin Quarter, close to the iconic Sorbonne University, and within a twirling distance of the Louvre!

The moment I settled in, I had to slip into my favourite ballet shoes and twirl around my Parisian flat! Oh, my darling readers, it's like dancing on a cloud - absolutely magical!

This afternoon, I had a date with destiny...well, the Opéra Garnier, to be exact. And for my Parisian debut, I decided to choose my new Pink Passion tutu - a delightful piece of sheer pink tulle with intricate detailing, which is perfect for those times when I just want to add a touch of extra fabulous to my look! The perfection of this garment truly reflects the beauty of this city, don't you think?

Of course, no trip to Paris would be complete without indulging in a little retail therapy, so later this evening, I am off to stroll the elegant streets of the Marais. It’s not only bursting with history, architecture and art, it’s also known for its delightful boutiques. The ultimate destination for those à la mode fashionistas like me.

The Marais is like a candy store for the soul. Just picture cobbled streets, boutique windows with eye-catching displays, the aroma of fresh pastries and coffee wafting from cafes, the chatter of Parisian voices… It’s like a magical fairytale setting for any pink tutu-loving princess.

I simply can't resist picking up a few delightful finds for my collection, but I can’t divulge anything yet! Just know this, darling readers, I am about to indulge my inner Parisian.

And speaking of inner Parisian, you must try le croissant, oh my goodness! I am already two down this morning – who can resist their perfectly flaky texture, rich buttery flavour, and overall irresistible charm?

This Saturday evening I’m venturing out to see “La Traviata”, one of my absolute favourite operas! My darling reader, do you know that Paris has a beautiful ballet and theatre tradition.

I love watching ballet dancers glide across the stage, dressed in shimmering tutus. The sheer grace and beauty of the performance always transports me to another world. They inspire me with their elegance and elegance. Just watching their powerful movements make me feel energised. And they're so very inspirational. It is my true hope that someday my ballerina talent will grace this very stage.

And when I see all of the other girls, dressed up to the nines with sparkling shoes and glamorous gowns… oh my goodness, the entire event just screams “pure Parisian glamour!” The Parisian scene makes you feel utterly and completely fashionable.

You may have guessed it, darling readers, but for this opera, I’ve been planning something extra special. I have a brand-new "Parisian Nights" tutu in shimmering rose gold fabric with feather trims – a veritable explosion of chic! With this tutu, my dear readers, I’m not just wearing a costume. I'm living the ballet dream, a pink tutu dream, right in the heart of Paris!

It just wouldn't feel like a true Parisian adventure without experiencing a traditional French show.

So here's to another fun-filled evening under the Parisian stars. I am off now to apply my favourite blush pink lipstick. I’ll share more photos from the show with you in next week’s blog post!
